I visited BIRDIES in Ankeny and tried the Scheff’s Táchira Burger — and wow, it was amazing! The flavors were perfectly balanced: juicy meat, soft bun, and a mix of ingredients that made every bite unforgettable. You can tell the chef puts real passion and creativity into every detail.

The place has a modern, cozy vibe, and the staff was friendly and attentive from start to finish. It’s one of those restaurants that instantly makes you want to come back.

We went to Birdies last weekend with a group of 8 adults and kids. They were very accommodating, the service was good and the food was excellent!

We ordered the bruschetta and Brussels sprouts for the table - so good, and then split wings and the jalapeño burger. The burger was amazing!! The wings lightly breaded, meat was juicy, and the sauce had just the right amount of spice.

My husband and I are still craving the wings and burger, and can’t wait to go back!

Stopped by Birdie’s and had the steak melt hands down one of the best I’ve had. The steak was tender, perfectly seasoned, and the melted cheese and grilled onions made it next-level good. The Dr Pepper was perfectly fizzy and refreshing, and the mini beers were a fun surprise smooth, sweet, and the perfect way to finish things off.
