We really loved this place. Visited this past Saturday around 11:30am and found only 2 other couples inside, but by time we left nearly an hour later - the place was almost full. So, plan your mealtime wisely. Dough Co. is pretty new, so I cannot say enough about how clean the place was. Even the restrooms were clean, and they didn't have that "restroom" odor either. Ample parking on surrounding streets, as well as in the lot behind the store. Please, don't complain if you have to walk one block to this place, as the Prairie Trail business area is getting to be more crowded all the time.
As for the pizza ... no wait, let's begin with those Breadstick Bites !!! These are some of the best breadsticks I've EVAH had. We opted for the 18" Hog Wild, and it was perfect. Make no mistake folks, these crusts are of the thinner type, so that's why we opted for a somewhat larger pizza than we would normally get. There was something about the pizza sauce that really appealed to me, so the sauce as well as the fresh ingredients set this pie over and above other similar pizzas you can order elsewhere.
With the Breadstick Bites and an 18" pizza sitting in front of us, we ate 1/2 of each, took the rest home and had another full meal the next day. Note ... I found the Breadstick Bites cooked perfectly in a toaster oven on the broiler setting.
So here ya go Dough Co., you earned it ... Location and convenience - 5 star Cleanliness - 5 star Food - 5 star Staff...
Read moreI mean… it’s food.🤷♂️ was it awful? No. Was it good? Not really.
Nothing special about the pizza. Thick, crunchy dough, some parts a little burnt and very little sauce.. but that’s ok. The downer was the toppings. They aren’t baked in. They're sprinkled on top. So when you pick it up, the toppings fall all over the place and all you get is a mouthful of cheese and maybe a meat. Then you have to claw machine the rest of your toppings into your mouth… not ideal. Paid about 10 bucks per large slice. Got about 5 bucks worth of ingredients. The front counter lady, who I can assume is the manager, was awesome. Prompt and friendly. Her counterparts however were not friendly. No smiles, no greeting, the chubby kid who brought my food actually tossed the trays down in front of me and walked away before I could even say anything. As I was talking he turned his back and then stood in the kitchen with a miserable look on his face. (He looked teenage so probably hormonal issues or mom took away his Xbox idk) Didn’t ask if I needed anything, say enjoy your food etc. Am I traumatized?? No. Am I mad? No. But when you pay money for a sit down joint, you should be treated with a lil enthusiasm or care. So if you’re after service or really craving pizza, just go to lil ceasars or a family joint. Tastes way better, less messy and better,...
Read moreI have a lot to say. First of all the pizza is amazing and I will be back solely on that alone. However, I did not have a good experience here for pick up. First of all, both your website and Google say you deliver but you don't. So that needs to be updated. Then the girl who helped me after I said I was here for pick up I had issues with. She was wearing a different restaurant's t-shirt which was odd, and her table by the register was full of piles of receipts and cash layed on top of it. Which doesn't make me feel good about where my info and money will go. She says to me "Let me check on your pizzas". And then doesn't come back to give me any update. After 10 mins, I find her and say do you know how much longer because I had a 5:15 pick up. She just says "soon". I waited another 10 mins before I got my pizza's for an order mind you, I placed in the early afternoon. Super frustrating. It's too bad, I had high hopes for better service. The only redeeming quality was the...
