Have been to Scooters off and on since moving to ankeny 4 years ago and have never once had a bad experience. The staff has always been very kind and helpful with my questions. The coffee actually tastes like coffee no matter what flavors you get though if you are used to Starbucks you may not like this. I can drive up and as long as I know what I want I can be out of there within a minute or 2 of pulling up usually. They always seem to have something that I can get to satiate whatever random craving I seem to have whenever it comes to drinks.

I do wish they had a greater variety of syrups instead of the usual ones, but I will usually choose the syrup that goes along with their limited-time, specialty drinks. Read moreI like Americano coffee and I had yet to try Scooter's coffee. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because the service was good. I could not drink the coffee at all. Even my husband hated it. The coffee tasted like burnt McDonalds coffee. I do know what good coffee taste like. I lived in NYC and the metro area for 30 years.
