OK tea, awful customer service. Took my 3 year old in there, had never tried the place, we were enthusiastic about it, there was no line, so I asked the girl at the register what was the best thing to get. She showed no interest in explaining the "extras" or "toppings" or whatever you would call it when you put scoops of stuff in your tea, she didn't explain anything about the sugar levels you could change or amounts of ice, etc. I asked what she thought a 3 year old kid might like and she just pointed at the menu on the wall. So I ordered a matcha green with pudding in it. Was OK, but my kid thought it was awful. At this point a line about about 4 people had formed, so I got in line to see if I just get my kid a little scoop/serving of the sweet "toppings" they have to lessen his disappointment, since I had made kind of a big deal to him about trying a new place and getting a treat. When I got to the register I held out two dollars (the toppings were 50 cents each) and asked to just get a few red beans and a little coconut creme for the kid. So I was basically offering to pay at least double just for them going to the effort. The guy says "nope, can't do it separate like that, just the drinks." No "sorry, it's against policy" or any kind of apology or explanation, just "nope." Kind of a jerk move I thought. I've had people at plenty other chain and mom and pop restaurants/coffee shops be very friendly and accommodating when I wanted to get the kid a little something that wasn't necessarily the norm, especially when I was totally willing to pay for it, or pay more than necessary just for them going to the trouble. Not this place I guess. Pretty unfriendly. And if I'm going to pay that much for a liquid refreshment I might as well go to Starbucks, at least they have a decent...
Read moreI LOVE COCO!!!! I come here all the time and their drinks and staff are amazing! Due to the whole covid-19 situation, to avoid contact they place drink in a box outside. The other day I went to go pick up my drinks only to realize 1/2 of my order wasn't there. The worker came out and told me that they did do my order and they placed the second bag next to the first. We realized that someone might've taken my second bag, but they quickly offered to remake my drinks but told me that they were out of pearls and can remake it without them. I was sad about that because I love the pearls, but I let them remake my drinks without them! After I left, I had received a call from Coco stating that the person who took my drinks have returned them and that if I still wanted them I could go back to grab them because they felt bad that they were unable to remake the drinks i have originally ordered. And for that reason, I rate them a 5/5 stars even though they deserve 100/5 stars for...
Read moreI started going here for lunch as part of a ploy to lose weight while walking from work. After several months of stopping by I fell in love with the various fruit based drinks. There were so many tasty options, and it was hard to pick, but I fell in love with mango smoothies and mango pomelo sago smoothies. Both are amazing.
I've only had one experience where it took a bit longer than expected, but there is usually only one person working the counter. It's similar to a coffee shop, so have patience.
I'm leaving a review due to my most recent interaction, where they did not have the Mango Pomelo Sago Smoothie, but the staff offered to make a variant of the drink. It was amazing!
Thank you so much for the option and hospitality. It's a nice cozy spot with...
