Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ann Arbor

I am a delivery driver. Tonight I had a delivery that happened during their product drop off time. I was not able to get to the entrance of the building because the semi truck was blocking the entire side of it so I tried to go through the drive-through. The man on the speaker told me I had to come in and told me to park in the back and walk up and then dismissively told me he had to take care of his truck. There were five of us standing inside the door and nobody was putting the food on the delivery shelves. I finally yelled in to try to get their attention to ask about the delivery orders and their music was playing so loudly they could not hear me. I eventually was able to wave someone down and she told me that they were too busy to make our food. I told them that they were obviously helping the drive-through cars and our orders were put in before the drive-through cars got there. The woman spoke up and told me that they are not doing regular orders and those were all DoorDash delivery cars. I told her that I was told I had to come inside, otherwise I would be in that line as well. A man named Ali Yousef told me that they were too busy and he would just cancel the order. I was supposed to pick up instead of giving it to me. He then started swearing at me. Bottom line the service at this place is terrible, and you will never get your food because they will not...

I definitely won’t be going to this location again😒 I went through the drive-through with my boyfriend and another friend around 11:22pm. When we pulled in it was hard to tell if they were open or not, even though apple maps shows they close at 1am everyday, but seen a few people ahead of us waiting on food. I can tell they are understaffed and hate their jobs, because we dealt with the rudest person I could ever think of. He told us they were closing and we were the last order that would be taken and rushed us on ordering and, with an attitude, told us to hurry up so we didn’t even get half of what we wanted. I wanted something that I guess they didn’t have, and rudely was told “Nope, try again we don’t have those”. While in line said staff member went outside to take trash out while cussing and complaining about too many orders. The person in front of us was ordering food for Doordash was told to leave because they were closing and another car behind us, even though we we’re supposedly the last ones getting food for the night, and he messed up our order. When we pulled up to get our food, he was acting all nice. It is clear he was probably having a bad day and was the only one working on shift, but this is just unprofessional! Horrific. We placed our orders using the kiosk because they were short staffed and didn’t have anyone on the register. We waited at least twenty minutes before finally leaving without our food or a refund. Before we left we watched the manager preparing food - it was mortifying, albeit it comedic. The two people ahead of us, who had clearly been waiting a while, received their food and immediately brought it back because it was made incorrectly. Then at this point the manager explained to the grubhub driver, who had also been waiting for quite sometime, that he was intentionally not bringing him his food because the grubhub customer had been rude on the phone so he was “going to let him wait another twenty minutes”. Suddenly we witnessed a record setting quesadilla build -this specific technique involved removing the quesadilla from the grill before the cheese was melted, so quickly that half of the contents spilled onto the ground. The same employee continuously wiped the counters off with his gloves, never once changing them for a clean pair. When we finally decided to get out while we still could, we had to Tetris our way out of the gridlocked drive-thru line. Needless to say, your best bet is to go somewhere else unless you value entertainment...
