sweetFrog — Restaurant in Annandale

The frozen yogurt is like any other sweet frog, very good. The experience was annoying given that I was not able to put my own toppings. I kept telling the guy a little of this and that and instead he put a big scoop of everything I asked for. Convenient for them of course since the cup is weighted. I feel that if they’re going to ignore what the person who is paying is asking for they should pay for it or give a discount. I want to pay for what I want and the amount I want not what they want to give me. I spent a little over $30 for 3 cups when I usually spend less than $20 for 3 cups for my 2 and 3 year old. Additionally, this is the first sweet frog I have gone to that does not have Nutella! Not a big deal but it’s the only frozen yogurt chain that I know of that always has it. We went to this Sweet Frog a year ago for the first time. The lady that was working greeted us at the door. She asked if we had any questions and she explained the process. She was friendly and helpful. It was a good experience.

Fast forward to this Saturday. We went inside and there was a young lady sitting behind the counter using a tablet. She didn’t greet us or ask if we had any questions. What a special treat for any kid, Sweet Frog in Annandale on Columbia Pike is great. Got a daddy and son moment for some soft serve and with many different toppings to choose from it was hard. After getting out soft serve I notice a “cotton-candy” FREE sign. And my kid was like “YES” please! I’ve been too a few Sweet Frogs and none of them have FREE cotton-candy for the kids.
