The Right Slice — Restaurant in Annapolis

The experience. We were visiting our son and decided to go for pizza. Our visit to The Right Slice Pizza gave us more than just delicious pizza, it gave us the best experience with genuine people, care and phenomenal customer service. The owner was extremely personable and the young man who prepared our pizza order was the best. It’s not often that you can say that a first interaction with someone cemented our plan to patronize their business during our future visits and to recommend them to all of our friends who are in the area.

The pizza. Our pizza was delicious. The crust was just right. I loved the fact that it was not doughy. In addition, it wasn’t too greasy. We chose to carry out and the pizza was still delicious once we got back to our rental. The pizza is made to order and didn’t take a very long time from start to finish. The portions were generously sized and the pricing was reasonable. It’s obvious they take pride in their product and they are committed to customer satisfaction.

So I initially went to try a slice at this place because I was confused on how a mall food court pizza place had 5 stars. After visiting there, I found out why. This blows your ordinary Sbarro’s out of the water. It’s brick-oven NY style pizza that’s super flavorful with a great crust and sauce to cheese ratio. The brick oven flavor is there without the pizza being burnt and there’s a hint of garlic/herb seasoning that really seals the deal. The first time I stopped for a slice at lunch, and the man at the register asked how I liked it once I was finished. Something else I appreciated was he asked if I would take the time to go give an HONEST (not just 5 stars like most places ask for) Google review since they’re a newer business and welcomed the feedback. I went back a few days later and got an XL pepperoni pizza to go, and it only took about 5 mins from start to finish for a great quality pizza. It’s as easy as walking into any other pizza shop but takes about 1/3 of the time. Awesome food and friendly service combined equals 5 stars...

The service was amazing. However the food is more on the disappointing side. This is the second time I have come to this place. The first time was a slice of cheese and slice of pepperoni this is when first opened the pizza was heavy on tomato taste and was not to my tasting nor my son. The second visit was spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were very good however the sauce and melted cheese on top of the pasta was not good. The melted cheese made it taste spoiled and the sauce was again just tomato not sauces or ingredients to make taste. Pretty much just plain.
