Alan and Manasi were both extremely helpful in helping me design my new living room to be exactly my style. I highly recommend this store if youāre looking for both quality and customer service.
7/24/25 Edited As of now, one item in this order has been delayed over and over without any communication back to me. The original date was in June and now tentative August (nothing official). Rather frustrating and not the experience I had in the start. I was able to get 90% of my order delivered at least, but a drawer on the side table was broken and I had to start the repair request on that (still pending that repair).
My prior order for 2 high back recliner chairs has also been sub par, both in furniture quality and customer service. One chair had a broken internal wooden component. March is when the repair request started. They send a new back which was damaged as well (stained leather and missing the proper velcro to attach the lower flaps to the base). Another repair request and a month before the tech could come out. They ordered another back (despite customer service believing the leather could be cleaned). That one arrived and, yet again, the velcro was missing so I could not install the back myself. To get a tech out...yet another month delay.
All in all, I've found the sales experience good, but the customer support and quality not so, especially considering the costs. I'll not buy another recliner from La-Z-Boy ever again, that's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve shopped Laz-Z-Boy furniture in Annapolis MD for decades, the quality and comfort keep me coming back. Two years ago I purchased two lift chairs from the Annapolis store. Justin the store manager was super nice when at first I wasnāt pleased with my purchase. They take forever to get out of from a reclining position. Justin suggested giving them a chance and if I still wasnāt happy he would work with me to replace them. After using them a week or two more the chairs became perfect for our house. My husbands health was failing, he needed help geting up from a chair. My husband passed Christmas Eve 2017, I no longer have need for the lift chairs they look brand new (really) so, Iām donating them to Wounded Warrior Project. This past week I stopped into the Annapolis store to purchase new furniture to replace those chairs. I was immediately greeted by Neway told him I was interested in a sectional. After looking at a few I settled on the Addision. Neway then introduced my to Lauren the store design expert. I expressed concern over the space in my home and questioned the configuration I might want which prompted her to schedule a in home design consultantion. Lauren is awesome at her job, she dug right in solving any concerns and issues I had. Her personal attention to design and ability to read a clients mind is a true gift. Not to mention she has a spectacular personality. Great team Lay-Z-Boy! Your loyal...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this store today for the first time ever. I was so pleasantly surprised by the modernization of the recliner. Recently I had surgery on my stomach & esophagus and itās been horrible getting up out of bed. I chose an option that I will purchase at some point within the next week or so. Unfortunately it wonāt be from this location. The entire staff during my particular visit were all Caucasian. After walking the store for half an our I didnāt receive one single solitary acknowledgment. In fact, while attempting to take a picture of a chair I liked a salesperson walked up with a customer, placed an ipad down in front of the chair on a table and completely blocked my view and ability to walk by the item. There were five staff members in the store that Iās seen. One was with a customer that walked in right before me. One with a customer who walked in after me. Two staff members were chatting amongst themselves and another gazing intently in their computer as if they absolutely couldnāt be disturbed. There was one other customer present with a minor that appeared to have been in the store for some time who also hadnāt been assisted during my visit. Really, is it too much to expect a greeting or even a āthanks for stopping byā? Itās 2023 and some just never...
