This is the worst jewelry store ever . I would not give them my business again. My wife lost her main diamond in her wedding ring I went to Jared to buy a new diamond and to get the ring repaired. This was on a Sunday I was told it would be ready on Thursday to be picked up ....well after calling Thursday hearing it would be fri then Saturday then Sunday the ring was finally ready on Monday of the following week . That wasn’t as much of a problem because I know it’s Christmas time and they were busy. The problem is when I went back to the store to pick the ring up the sales lady was more worried about documenting the ring with the tablet they use then to show me the ring I was there to pick up. When I finally was able look at the ring I could tell another diamond was missing. Keep in mind I part of what I paid for on the ring repair was for them to check all the other diamonds and fix any loose ones. It amazed me how the lady who just looked at the ring for a good 10 minutes didn’t notice it or the person who fixed the ring didn’t notice they knocked a diamond out. I was thankful they and my self took pictures when I dropped it off. I was clearly there mistake and neglect I wasn’t very happy about the whole thing but I kept a level head and talked to the manager... some guy with slicked back hair he apologized said they would fix the ring the very next day. I unfortunately live an hour away from Jared . I asked if a friend could pick up the ring for me since he worked close by. They told me no problem. The next day they called said the ring was ready I asked my friend to pick it up my friend asked the lady working did you replace the diamond that was missing the lady assured my friend it was all fixed. So later that night I stop by his house to pick up the ring and as soon as I looked at it I could tell the diamond was still missing. I called the store talked to one manager named Scott he was very understanding on how upset I was said he would stay late if I would bring the diamond back in so one hour of driving later. I meet Scott he says they will have the Ring repaired the next day. My friend agin goes to pick up the ring and it looks good but was not worth the hours of driving or the frustration of dealing with Jared and employees and management that doesn’t really seem to care about the inconvenience or the sentimental value peoples jewelry. I do appreciate Scott’s one of the managers help but the general manager seems like someone who should not be trusted. The moral of the story is people work hard for there money and some things are worth more then money choose another company to do...

I never got my wedding ring resized because of COVID closures, pregnancy, etc. When I brought my rings in for inspection, I finally got my band resized smaller. The consultant who helped me sized it to the exact same size to my engagement ring. It was wayyy too small because of the style. I sent it back and the consultant did 1/4 size up. When I got the ring back a second time, I could get it on and off in the store but it was snug. The consultant said it was probably just a little swollen because I was taking it on and off recently.
When I got home that day, my ring was stuck on my finger. It would not come off. I tried everything. Eventually my husband and I had to call the fire department and they sent an ambulance to cut it off. My engagement ring and wedding rings were cut into pieces. Completely ruined.
Turns out, the style of band I had should be sized up a full size larger than your normal finger size. A reputable jeweler SHOULD have advised me of that. I feel that this store failed me in this regard.
When I took the rings back in to see if they can be repaired, a new consultant I was working with said we could possibly try to repair it, but it will take several weeks and there’s no guarantee.
I decided rather than wait and see; I would just trade my rings in for a new one. No woman wants to give up her rings for weeks just for a chance of repair. The new consultant was extremely sweet, patient and helpful. I unfortunately did not catch her name but she was wonderful.
They set my original diamond into my new ring in less than 24 hours. I was very happy with the results.
The store did not offer any assistance or compensation for the damage to my rings, I had to pay the full amount for the trade in (minus the credit for my existing jewelry). There was no cost for the new setting. I understand it was not entirely the consultant’s fault that my ring didn’t fit, but I do feel like if they were more involved and offered advice/expertise, that I wouldn’t have been in that situation that it had to be cut off.
Also the manager was called over and told me “at least my...
Read moreI have a lifetime warranty for a ring that I was given a few years ago. I entered Jared today to take my ring in for repairs. When I entered the store at approximately 4:30pm I noticed that there were sales consultants (male and female) in the back of the store and a couple that the female sc was assisting. The male seemed to be doing something on the computer. No one greeted me with hello, welcome to Jared. No one said, that someone would be with me shortly. Nothing. I began to browse around the store glancing at the items in the cases. I walked towards the back of the store where the two sales consultants were as well as the couple. Again, no hello. No one asked if I needed anything....If I wanted anything. No one acknowledges me at all. I noticed a cell phone wallet on the counter and asked the female customer if it belonged to her and mentioned that she may not want to leave it there on the counter out of her possession. Again, neither of the sales consultants acknowledges my presence. I continue to browse through the store and then decided that I would return at another time to have my ring repaired. I have had many issues with "this" ring and the ONLY reason I return is because I have the lifetime warranty. I swear they give me more reasons NOT to return than to return. After getting in my car I remember another occasion I encountered the male sales consultant. I was in the store waiting my turn and finally when I was approached I was asked was I being help and replied, that guy there (referring to the same dude as today) told me that you would be over to help me. Her response was, REALLY! He said that? He sure did. Customer service was not up to par today. Do...
