Seoul Blues Coffee in Annapolis offers a delightful escape into the charm of a Korean cafe, reminiscent of the trendy spots in Ikseon-dong and Hongdae. Located conveniently attached to the Annapolis Mall, this independent shop provides a refreshing alternative to the usual chain coffee experience. The atmosphere is a standout – a warm, rustic vibe creates a welcoming space whether you're looking to catch up with a friend or settle in for some work. It's clear they've put thought into the design, making it a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. Seoul Blues boasts a menu of high-end coffee drinks alongside a tempting array of Korean-inspired desserts. Think French-style pastries with unique Korean twists, incorporating ingredients like sweet potato and mochi. During my visit, I opted for the black sesame latte, and I was thoroughly impressed. It was expertly prepared, showcasing a deep, rich flavor. The matcha pound cake I paired with it was equally well-executed, offering a delicate balance of matcha bitterness and sweetness. The prices at Seoul Blues are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the coffee and desserts, and the overall ambiance. I personally appreciate supporting a local business like this over a large chain, and I believe Seoul Blues offers a unique and worthwhile experience. If you're looking for a taste of Seoul in Annapolis, or simply a well-crafted coffee and delicious dessert in a pleasant setting, Seoul Blues is definitely...

They're still training their staff so be patient because it's worth it! Their drinks are great, try the black or brown sugar milk teas and the caramel macchiato. But be sure to try the desserts! This is the only bakery we've found in the area that has basque cheesecake and it was great. The tiramisu is also very good.
Restrooms are large and there's plenty of seating inside and out. I don't know if their a/c isn't working or they just don't want to use it, but inside is H-O-T! They leave the side door open but there is no air movement at all.
They also don't make their own desserts which I think is strange for a boutique eatery. When I said that aloud to my wife, the girl at the register, presumably an owner, snarkily said "well we're a small business and hope to get to do it here eventually" like that's supposed to explain it.
Anyway, the prices are reasonable and the desserts are fresh. If you want a whole cake version of anything in the case, we were told they need 4 days notice to order and receive it as they do not have full cakes in stock, only slices.
We'll definitely be back over and over again to try their...
Read moreI’ve been going to this cafe for about two years, and I’ve seen many changes during the years. One of the reasons I’ve felt drawn to this place was their boba and how perfectly balanced of sweetness, compared to the other boba shop in the mall. As well as the biscotti tiramisu, in which I adored when I’ve first gotten it, after an recommendation from one of the barsita. Time and time again, I would get the boba and tiramisu, until it stopped selling the boba.
I think I talked to one of the managers and mentioned that it was “too long to make and it wasn’t selling as often”, which understandable! It’s a business. I’ll just get the tiramisu. I came back today, and discovered the removed the biscotti tiramisu, and replaced with this tiramisu in a cup… To say that I was heartbroken, I couldn’t explain it in words. This cafe had so many changes during the two years, that I’m not sure if I’ll be going back since the items I’ve loved are gone.
🩷The downgrade is hard to fathom for me, but the cafe still has many other great drinks and desserts. I’ve noticed that they are adding more tables for people who want to use the cafe as a workplace, and has little cute activities to spent time with...
