Okay so, we rented out “the nook” in this place which was just about three circle tables shoved into a small section of the speak easy and was right next to the door where they let you in. So every time someone opened the door our party got blasted with cold air. The atmosphere was cramped but it was at least kind of festive, the singer that was on that night was very nice. While our server had an amazing personality and was decently attentive, a lot of our orders when we got were completely wrong and the kitchen was out of a lot of dishes so our selection on the menu was small. We ordered all of our food at the same time at 6:30pm and the last entree that came out of the kitchen to our table was around 8:30-40pm, each dish was spread out and either overcooked or the wrong order. Drinks were good but also took a long time to come out. The server told us there was only two people in the kitchen so it seems a staffing issue was prominent as well. I feel bad for the chefs but it certainly was a terrible dinner and not worth the 900 dollar tab that we had by the end of the night. We wouldn’t come here again, it wasn’t a great experience...

I was very excited to try this place. Wanted to try a couple of their craft cocktails and 3 different apps. The atmosphere is great, really feels authentic. The 1 drink that I and my husband had were really good. The service was the worst I have ever experienced. One of the 3 people behind the bar, came and took our drink order, after I went and asked, she was not friendly at all. Which isn't a big deal, we all have our days. We finished our drinks and waited for a server or someone to come by, nobody came to our table once. It was not that busy, there were only 4 people at the bar with 3 bartenders. The table next to us had been waiting on their tab for atleast half hour. I was finally able to wave down one of the server's that walked by, she sent over the older male bartender. I explained we had been there for going on a hour with No service. He apologized and made really dumb excuses. Absolutely no responsibility from anyone. He then uses our card on the wrong tab, luckily my husband noticed. I have NEVER not tipped before. We paid for our drinks and left. I was extremely...

The Secret Cellar Sisters attended a cocktail class last evening at Nuckys Speakeasy. Nucky's offers classes for groups of 10 or more and will customize classes based on your requests. Our group had Katie, the head bartender design and execute our class for us. The class began with an educational feature of tools and cocktail necessities needed for making cocktails, which was then followed by our group making two unique and absolutely delicious recipes that Katie had recently created. Hands down, some of the best cocktails we've ever tasted! Nucky's also had the space decorated so beautifully. I recommend Nucky's for a couple of reasons. 1. SPACE - I cannot wait to rent this space in the near future. It is like a museum! 2. Katie has a special gift for cocktail creations. And, she offers an educational atmosphere with confident training delivery! We absolutely loved the evening they provided to us, and we cannot wait to go back and take another class and spend the evening in this enormous and charming space! Thank you, The Secret...

Amazing atmosphere. It was very fun to find the correct entrance and ring the bell, provide the password etc. The historic building was a big draw. The spinach and artichoke dip appetizer was excellent and so were the drinks. The service however was lacking and did cause some disappointment as we’d really been looking forward to coming. We dressed up and brought out of town guests. They were not at all crowded but everything was extremely slow. I suspect they were understaffed. I recognize it is a holiday week and it was also a week night but in the course of about 2 hours we were able to order 2 drinks. I know at least one other table left because they’d been there 30+ minutes without even being able to order. It was not a friendly or inviting vibe. When we were let in we were just told to sit wherever and the server walked off and we didn’t see another staff member for maybe 20 mins. I definitely want to give it another chance but I was honestly pretty bummed overall. For spending $130, I’d expect a bit better.

Quaint and unique location- paired well with restaurant upstairs _ club300_ themed spots to visit are so much fun. Host was entertaining and fun - recommend sitting near bar it us very neat! Barrel chairs are well made n heavy but don’t swivel so ;) fyi set up in desired spot prior to plopping down! Drinks were okay and rather high in price - server was kind and seemed happy yet was very busy- you do wait a bit - so settle in n enjoy the surroundings while they get to you - quite the place ! Typically entrance is down a large flight of stairs. But - can be ada friendly service to ( has elevator if needed too) leads to the backroom of speakeasy! So much history here - was cool 😎 dress in themed 1920’s to fit in - not required but fun!

There's two speakeasy's in anoka... The Hardware store for sure has the better drinks overall and a slight edge on service... nucky's for sure has the better atmosphere and potential but also definite room for improvement :/ I.E. got a side car and it was not served in the correct glass/ served with ice??? and then tasted like lemon flavored vodka... one of the bar tenders served us and was not customer focused at all... idk hate to bash a place but I've been underwhelmed since their opening and blown away by the hardware store so far... would love to see an upgrade here😥
