China Sea Restaurant — Restaurant in Ansonia

China Sea is Take out food only. Or is delivered. One of my TOP reasons of ordering here is…. When I was a little girl I would go with my parents (every Friday) out for Chinese. It was always the same restaurant that was on the Post Road, Orange CT. Well, anyway, food back, then was cooked so differently and better and most places than now. But China Sea is not far from that food taste flavor. Also, they are the only people in the valley that I’ve gone to that make fried rice, which I get the pork fried rice brown Not yellow. That yellow rice is not fried rice. It is just what it is….yellow rice.

Also, the couple that works, runs the place are so nice, so sweet, so helpful. Let me stop. I could go on and on about China Sea.

Also, the third best thing to me is…..I usually have our food delivered within 15...

I used to come here all the time. The food used to be amazing, but it has consistently gone downhill over the last year. I kept going back here though, hoping that the quality would improve to where it used to be. The last time I went though, the food was terrible and I'm now I'm never going back again. And honestly the prices are way too high, plus the wait times can be really long. The area is super sketchy too...not the restaurant's fault, but definitely not a point in their favor. I'm only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because of my good past experiences here. But I can't recommend this place anymore, and that makes me kind of sad...it used to be such a great place to get takeout. I really hope they fix this place so...

don't judge a book by it's cover sums up this place perfectly - the location and storefront are abysmal but the food is delicious. too many other local Chinese places serve up "sesame breading" when you order sesame chicken. Not this place, there's actual CHICKEN in there - go figure ! ask for white meat and you will be even more pleased - prices are extremely fair and they are very consistent - I have ordered from them a half dozen times and each time the food is exactly the same. won ton soup is WELL above average and the sauces are delicious. dumplings and veggie fried rice need some improvement however. Don't forget to VENT your meal on the way home to maintain it's textural...
