For years I have loved Roma's brick oven pizza. The crust is nicely charred and thin the way i like it, crispy but with a bit of chewiness. Not greasy. That being said I only order certain toppings because others are jarred or canned which is disgusting. Like garlic. They use jarred. It tastes terrible as everyone knows. But the bacon and sausage are good. I left three stars only for two reasons. I ordered a chicken cutlet grinder and the chicken was not only old but little thin slices being reused from pizza or salad toppings. So gross. And so old and hard I could barely chew it. And lastly it is a global pandemic and I saw not only none of the customers wearing masks but the workers had them on their chins and no gloves. I asked the manager why he didn't require masks and he just shrugged. Not acceptable. No mask no service. And this was just for takeout! I was the only person in line...
Read moreI used to get take out a lot when I worked nearby. And it was usually good, but that was 3 years ago and longer. The last couple of times the food has went downhill badly. This time will be the last. We got a large sausage and mushroom pizza and a Stromboli. It was 40 dollars and the pizza was a joke. So bad when we opened it we weighed it. It was only 30 ounces and my wife and I ate the whole thing shaking our heads. I know it's the thin crust type, but there was hardly any sauce, cheese or toppings. So bad that the only thing that we could taste was the crust. We have gotten way better pizzas from Aldi's for about a third of the price. The so called Stromboli was better than the pizza and at 16 dollars the better deal. I know there's inflation now, but places can't keep raising the prices and giving less ingredients. Then expect people to be satisfied...
Read moreWe had Roma’s for the first time today after hearing great things and the food was excellent. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The woman at the counter/front was NOT friendly at all. She didn’t greet us as we came and it made it seem as though she was annoyed we were there. She looked down her nose at me the whole time and when I tried to make a joke to lighten the atmosphere she just looked at me, didn’t laugh, and processed my card. She did give a very bland thank you at the end but even my kids asked me why was acting that way toward us : (. The woman who packed up the food for us was very friendly and helpful. It was not busy at all so there was not excuse as to why the first lady couldn’t give better customer service. I like the food so hopefully next time I go back I will be treated...
