We came here for our anniversary dinner. My son really wanted to get the bloomin Onion so we decided to go here instead of Chianti's. Our waiter did not even bother to seat us. He just pointed at some booths. When my husband asked if that's where he wants us to go, he pointed again and said "go over there". Our waiter was not attentive at all. We had to repeatedly ask for things. There was three of us at the table, he was going to only bring us two waters. My husband had to repeat twice, "no, three waters". When he brought the bread for the appetizers he only brought two plates. Our food came out lukewarm. Although the steak was okay, mine was burnt at the top in some areas, it was over seared on too high of heat. My husband's was supposed to be medium rare and his was a medium and it had no flavor. The macaroni and cheese tasted microwaved, dry and way over salted. It was a brownish color too. The only hot item we had was the onion and it was a dark color like it was either double dipped or the oil was bad. Our silverware was dirty. There were pieces of food dried onto it. It's a good thing they give two forks because between the three sets of silverware we were all able to get at least one decent piece of cutlery. All items had water spots covering every inch. We had to ask multiple times for a refill for my son's water and soda and it kept never arriving. It wasn't until the manager did another circle and asked us how we were doing when my husband told him we were waiting for my son's refills. We had been waiting since the beginning of our appetizers and our entrees had already been sitting there around 10 minutes. I let the manager know we had already asked twice. It was really 4 times, once to two separate servers and twice to our waiter. Worst of all, every last one of us got food poisoning. The major reason for this review. I couldn't eat my main course. I started not feeling well. I thought that maybe I was full but I thought that was odd, that I would get full from eating one third of a bloomin onion and a few shrimp and scallops from our hors d'oeuvre. My husband ate a little bit of his meal too. My son ate part of his meal but we all had at least half, if not our entire meal left. I was vomiting all night long. My husband had diarrhea and stomach pain. My son was experiencing severe stomach pain. This is not what one would expect to get at a restaurant. What a way to top off our anniversary, for us to all be sick. My husband and I both thought when we walked in the door that we should have walked back out. After the way the host behaved was a huge red flag. The other red flag was it was a Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. and there were only 1 or two...
Read moreOn 3/4/25, my family and I visited our local Outback Steakhouse, one of my favorite restaurants, for dinner around 6 pm. Unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. We were seated immediately, which was a good start. After receiving our menus and tableware, we browsed the menu for about ten minutes before our waitress, Vanita T., came over. She apologized for the wait and assured us she'd return shortly to take our order. Around five minutes later, a couple was seated behind us.
That's when things began to take a turn. The couple was immediately given bread, and the manager came out to take their drink orders. Meanwhile, we had neither received bread nor had our drink orders taken. The manager walked right past our table without acknowledging us. A few minutes later, the manager returned, delivered drinks to the couple, and took their food orders, while we were still waiting, menus in hand, for assistance.
Finally, after about 20 minutes, our waitress returned. She was rushed, seemed irritated, and took our order as if it were an inconvenience. After we ordered, we were given bread and our drinks came shortly after. While waiting for our starters, the manager came out again, helped the couple with their starters, and asked if they were okay. He walked right past us again without a word. A runner eventually brought our starters, and we began eating.
It had been a while since we'd seen our waitress, and by this time, my boys' drinks were empty. When she finally reappeared, she went to the couple, refilled their drinks, and then returned to our table with our refills. When the main courses arrived, the manager and a food runner brought out a large tray of food. The manager gave the couple their food first, despite them being seated 15 minutes after us. Then he brought our food, but instead of greeting us, he immediately started asking who had ordered what to make sure the food was correctly distributed. He ensured we were set up and then left.
Ten minutes into eating, our waitress finally checked in to ask if everything was okay, but then disappeared again. When it was time to pay and request our dessert to go, she took an unusually long time. Despite the restaurant not being crowded, she was slow and frequently disappeared. Overall, this was by far the worst experience I've had at...
Read moreWe came here on Sunday because we have not seen one open in so long. Well they should just close down.. Service was the worst! We walk in and there are about 5 people at podium (possibly in training) but they all stare then one gal says this way. Table was dirty mind you there aren't that many people in the restaurant. She indicates she will clean table walks off and never comes back. My husband goes up to the podium and asked will you be cleaning the table and she says yeah. We sit at another table which was also wiped half a$$ and wonder if that's how she cleans herself..... drinks, appetizers and dinner were ordered at same time bcz we already knew it started off bad. So thennnn our food comes out before our appetizers and no one takes accountability for it. A manager apologized for claiming to be short staffed and server came after and said kitchen was behind. Asked for extra napkins the server never came back with them. I asked for a box and took atleast 10 min to bring. Again surprised because it was not packed. But he was quick to go to the table to see if we left a tip after we walked out. Pretty funny as I hadn't reached the podium and I seen him in my peripheral view he rushed to table. We always tip for good service. Quite frankly they didn't earn it. And disappointed once again with Outback and...
