Birthday Lunch Letdown: Undelivered Pizza Leaves Party Empty-Handed at Namoli's NY Pizza

Child's birthday lunch was supposed to be a slice of heaven, a pizza party paradise orchestrated by Namoli's NY Pizza. A day in advance, I placed an online order for several pizzas, carefully selecting Namoli's for their ratings which I don't believe in anymore. I even pre-paid the entire order, including delivery, confident they'd handle the occasion flawlessly.

However, as the designated delivery time came and went, the only thing delivered was disappointment. No pizza arrived. Calls to Namoli's NY Pizza went unanswered, leaving us scrambling for last-minute alternatives. My child's birthday excitement, meticulously built throughout the morning, dissipated with each passing minute. What was supposed to be a joyous lunch with friends morphed into a stressful hunt for food, all thanks to Namoli's NY Pizza's unreliable service.

The most infuriating part was the complete lack of communication and disregard for our confirmed, pre-paid order. They accepted our business, took our money, and then vanished like a forgotten slice in the back of the oven. This wasn't just an inconvenience; it was a major letdown, especially for a child celebrating their birthday with their friends.

Giving one star because they don’t allow the option for none. I love Namolis, eat there a few times a month. The food is delicious and reasonably priced but tonight left a very bad taste in my mouth the say the least. We called in and ordered our food for pick up at 5:40 PM. They told us that they were not selling individual slices of pizza. Ok, understandable it’s Saturday night no big deal. We ordered 2 hot subs with fries and an order of garlic knots. She told us over the phone it would be about 45-50 minutes until it was finished. Again, no big deal it’s Saturday night they’re most likely busy. She got off the phone saying our order was in the kitchen. After arriving to pick up our food after 1 hour, it still wasn’t finished and the girl at the desk said it would be a few more minutes. After waiting an additional 30 minutes and still no food, we went to the cashier and just asked for our money back. They said they cannot do that. The boy working behind the counter used the excuse that they were closing in 2 hours, although we ordered our food over an hour ago. 4 other customers came in and ordered their food at the counter and received it before ours had come out. Upon arriving home, both subs were cold, one was missing all the toppings and only had 5 French fries on the side. The garlic knots were just biscuits with no garlic.

Namolis Pizza has been our favorite around Apex for years- we always recommend to neighbors/friends and order when we have friends over- especially the Greek Pizza! However, our experience at Namolis yesterday has changed our tune, and i wanted to let others know NOT to order Namolis when you may be in a time crunch.

4:00pm- I called to ask what time Namolis would recommend I call in an order for ONE Greek Pizza to be picked up at 5:00pm. She said 4:15 or 4:30, since they don't take call ahead orders that early in the day.

4:12pm- I called in my order for ONE greek pizza, as instructed, hoping for a 5pm readiness time. She lets me know it will be 55 minutes to an hour. Not what I had been told- but okay.

5:00pm- My husband drives up early, hoping it'll be a few minutes early, but won't mind waiting. Upon his arrival, is told it will be way longer than expected, at least another 30- 45 minutes.

So, this SINGLE pizza is going to take over an hour and a half, after having been ordered at 4:12pm?!? We weren't called, or made aware of the change in time until my husband showed up. It was Halloween- so- I understand- they were busy- but that is why we started our ordering process at 4pm. There were no apologies.

Please reconsider ordering from Namolis if you are on a strict timeline! I'll be looking elsewhere for better service as we will not continue to support a...
