My first visit to Gator's Dockside was nothing short of spectacular, leaving me eagerly anticipating my next dining experience there. So I guess writing your main office did not do a thing so I will place my disappointment here. I would give you a no star review but I have to leave at least one. On 08/02/18 ticket # 15001. My husband and I had a long week and we live behind this location and we thought after such a bad week lets go to Gators, well that was the biggest mistake we made. For one the order took awhile and we understand being busy but it was not that crazy, it was so bad that a lady started to scream at the waitress and the manager, that they needed to get it together, NO ONE helped her, she finally walked out. Well we got our food and I ordered a winger platter. I had one and it was okay but when I got to the second one that was a new story. Let me ask you? Have you ever had a piece of fish tossed in wing sauce that was dipped in blue cheese?????? If you have not I think you should never try it. Now I hate fish lucky I am not allergic to fish or that would have been a new story. I called Elizabeth our server over and she was great she was helpful and apologetic, well she called the manger over and he was a joke. He looked at me like I was crazy like I was lying, well after trying to get him to take a bite he admitted to me that it had just happened on Sunday. Well he made me new ones and after paying $12.99 for a dinner I did not eat I left with more then just a bad taste in my mouth.

One he had no clue about the week we had just lost our dog, she had caner and died that Monday we do not have kids and she was all we had. (I went to work and I never let my customers know I am having a bad day let alone a bad week.) Two he talked to me like I was a liar looking for a free meal so I paid and then left. Three I will NEVER EVER go back as long as he is there. It has taken me a couple of Days to write this because we have been so busy. I just want you all to know about the poor management. I am in customer service and I have never made anyone feel this way. At first I thought it was because we had an emotional week, but then I realized...

We walked in today and we were greeted promptly. We were told there were only high top tables available beside they had some sort of bingo. I pointed out several normal tables with no one sitting at them and asked if there was something wrong with them, to which the young lady I am assuming was a hostess immediately responded that they didn’t notice those tables were empty…

We were seated and then Madyson came over and took our drink order. She came back with our drinks after a couple minutes and took our food order. After a while she brought our food out.

Our party, which consisted of four, ate their food.

As we were dining the song “My ding-a-ling” was played by the DJ who was in charge of the music bingo or whatever it’s called and I was perplexed. While it’s a funny tongue-in-cheek song, but I didn’t appreciate the fact that my 8 year old daughter was hearing it. There were plenty of families dining and it was totally inappropriate.

The other glaring issue was the service. We had to ask for refills, when we finally saw our server again and she brought the wrong drinks.

There was crap on almost every ledge and to top it off we were curious about there food safety standards so we looked it up. They currently have a “B”, and they have had worse in the past with several repeat offenses.

At this point I was done. Asked for the check paid and left.

Maybe you’ll have better luck there, but it’s certainly not up to...
