Edit 12-1-19 Regretfully I have to deduct stars from the precious 5 star review. The cashiers are getting bad. I was in there one night and the girl didn't know how to take cheese off a burger, so she tried ringing up something totally different. I told her that all she has to so is take the cheese off. She then rolled her eyes at me and got someone to show her how to do it. Then my girlfriend ordered a chicken nugget combo. When we got our food there were no fries with it. I went up there and told her they forgot the fries. She was slouching over by the register and said my girl didn't order fries. And then basically called her a liar. Then she went and huddled with another employee and the manager and told them that I was lying. And the burgers had cheese on them. So I was waiting for the hamburger and it was sitting in the que for a while. I asked one of the employees (that was drinking a soda behind the counter) to please get the burger for me. She said that's not her business and then walked away. I am so dissapointed in this location. They were doing really good before.
One of the last good McDonald's. Every time I've been in here there has been someone at the register to take my order. And they have always been polite. I've given other McDonald's bad reviews because there is never anyone at the register and they try to corral you to the touchscreens. This McDonald's hasn't done that to me.
Good service goes a long way. Something most companies are losing. I like the ones that still think good customer service is an important part of the...
Read moreFirst and Last Visit to this location. AVOID THIS LOCATION ! We rarely visit McDonald's, but it was getting late, we were hungry, so you know - fast food. Nothing was fast about this McDonald's. I wasn't sure if the store was open (at 11 pm), because there weren't many lights on. We pulled up to the drive-thru anyway. There we waited for at least 15 minutes to make it to the 2nd window. When the employee at the first window started popping out of the window to look, we asked what the holdup was - they replied "Oh, it's another Uber order - they always hold everything up." We asked if a manager was on duty, as the delays were too much to ask paying customers to endure. We were greeted by a blank stare. When I was handed my food at the 2nd window, I asked if there was a receipt in the bag - surprise - blank stare at the ceiling. I asked what the store number is - you guessed it - no response. I checked my french fries immediately, and they were cold. I checked my Big Mac sandwich - the burgers were also cold. I don't know why my food took so long, and was cold. I don't plan to re-visit this location ever again, so I can't report whether management has figured out how to keep Uber orders from clogging-up their drive thru, or if the burgers and fries will be made quicker - as in Quick Service Restaurant - which McDonald's is supposed to be...
Read moreThe McDonald’s on Hunt Club holds a special place for me, as I used to work at this location for a few years. It’s always nostalgic to stop by, and I’ve enjoyed seeing how it has evolved over time. The most striking change has been the shift in how orders are handled. What used to be a bustling front counter full of people taking orders is now a sleek, streamlined setup with kiosks doing most of the work.
Walking in, you’re greeted by the kiosks where you type in your order, take a number, and then sit down while they bring your food to you. It’s a far cry from the McDonald’s I remember, but it’s an interesting and efficient change. The process feels modern and intuitive, even if it takes away some of the face-to-face interaction that used to be a big part of the experience.
Despite these changes, the atmosphere at this location is still familiar and welcoming. The staff are friendly and keep the place clean and running smoothly. It’s nice to see that even with all the technological upgrades, the commitment to customer service hasn’t been lost.
The food is consistent and exactly what you expect from McDonald’s quick, affordable, and satisfying. Whether you’re stopping in for nostalgia or convenience, the Hunt Club location delivers a solid experience every time. It’s a fun mix of the old McDonald’s charm and the future...
