Read moreToday was my first time stopping in to check out this cozy little corner of Apple Valley! The atmosphere is quite nice, warm and inviting with a wall fire behind some couches to the right, and lots of seating around the corner to the left as you walk in. I do have to say, the seating fills up quickly, so coming earlier to get a good spot would be the move! I must have walked in at the perfect time because the ordering line was nonexistent, however, it wasnât long before two or three people stood to wait their turn. I was ordering with the Down syndrome girl that I take care of and it was very sweet to watch the employees work with her and talk with her so well. The service is very friendly and patient and I felt at peace with the fact that my girly can take a bit extra time when ordering! They even give out lunch cards for encouraged visits! Our drinks didnât take long to complete, because we were first in line, but a few others waiting behind us only stood by for a few minutes! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and the coffee was amazing! It didnât taste like anything from Starbucks or Caribou! Next time I might just bring a book or my laptop and find a spot to...
Read moreDonât come here if you want to concentrate on your work and get something done. This was my reason for coming in, to enjoy a nice espresso and do some work on my computer. There was literally not a ONE minute pause of silence. There is this female employee who quite literally would not stop talking, talk about THINKING OUT LOUD. Its not only that she continuously talked for my brief 30 minutes visit that I could bear, her voice is so pronounced and amplified. She must just like to hear herself talk. There was no consideration for the other QUIET guests sitting in the lounge area. Ive never been so bothered in a cafe before. I think its safe to say that I will not be coming back to this establishment for this very reason. The coffee was wonderful, itâs just that this one in particular staff member doesnât comprehend what an âinside voiceâ is and to be mindful not to disturb the paying customers. As Im writing this, she walks by asking the other QUIET customers why they are so quiet and if theyâre nappingâŠhow ironic huh? Use the...
