And the #chickening of Apple Valley reaches a pinnacle as the long awaited expansion of Wing Stop not only makes it way to Minnesota but hits the south suburbs. As we make our normal daily commute down Cedar avenue and look over into the Time Square shopping center we look to see if the green neon "open late" sign is illuminated and finally on October 30th we jumped for joy! After rushing into the Wing Stop app to place our order for enough food to feed 4 (3 being hungry boys) of a 75 piece group pack. We patiently waited in the store for our 20-30 minutes per the app but given opening day the time came and went (as we watched another individual with a large order wait at the counter which it turns out once we asked an employee ours was sitting there waiting). As we cracked open the two large party trays our bone-in/boneless spread amongst 5 different sauces (Sweet BBQ Blaze, Hot Honey Rub, Original Hot, Louisiana Rub, Garlic Parmesan) and 3 different orders of fries (Seasoned Fries, Louisiana Voodoo Fries & Buffalo Ranch Fries) were separated into serving boats & packaged nicely into earth friendly paper bags. With a plethora of containers of ranch and our veggie sides we devoured as much as we could, with favorites being the hot honey and traditional hot as well as the Voodoo fries. All the food had a nice temperature & flavor, was nice and warm, and definitely a new local favorite. The staff was very attentive, despite the slight miss on our food sitting on the counter after we had told them our names when we walked in and them calling out others while we were waiting. Certainly won't keep us from coming back again and again and are excited for this new addition to our regular...
Read moreI cannot believe that I went to this Wingstop since night and I wait for my food one hour no I order my food sometime after six. I didn’t get my food till 8 o’clock. I asked the lady if I could get a refund she said she can’t refund anything she’ll have to send the receipt to the manager and the manager will send me my money in five business days. I ended up waiting for the food because I was already exhausted and just Upset that I promised my daughter Wingstop for dinner. The lady who was acting like a supervisor she was like clapping each time she get one order out and I’m like why is she clapping while the lobby is full of people? That wasn’t an achievement. They need to set up a different structure to get people order out on time. I read all the review on here and the biggest problem they have is getting food out on time it needs to change. If this location is going to be a success, they need to work on timing. Also, for the fact that they have people waiting for an hour since night, they should’ve at least give them something to accommodate all that waiting. I had to take a video and send it to my husband. I could not believe what I was looking at. I was there for an hour an hour. It was awful. The food was good. The weight was just horrible just horrible. There’s no way I could’ve ordered my food at six and didn’t get it till eight. I ordered it online and then I went to the store and stand here for a whole hour....
Read moreAwful experience. I wish I could give this 0 stars because that is what this location deserves. First off, I did an online order and it didn’t tell me until AFTER I ordered how long my wait time would be - an hour. I got to the restaurant and had to wait an additional ten minutes, which I was fine with because of how busy it was. When I got my order I went to fill up my soda cup and there was no ice in the soda machine. It’s not that hard to put ice in a machine! I opened up my order after sitting down and the fries were barely seasoned, soggy, floppy, and only partially cooked. When it came to my wings, there was more oil than wings. Each individual wing had its own pile of oil and they were shiny with oil. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings, and they forgot to put the garlic Parmesan topping on them - they were just oily, seasonless, and soggy wings. I went up to talk to an employee about the lack of garlic and Parmesan on my GARLIC PARMESAN wings, and there was no apology - they didn’t say a word. Instead of offering a refund or giving me a new order to amend their mistakes, they grabbed the garlic Parmesan topping, barely sprinkled it on my wings, and sent me on my way. Again no apology. The wings still had no flavor, and even ranch couldn’t save them, a bold statement coming from a Midwesterner who loves ranch. This was my first time ever coming to a wing stop and I can confidently say I will...
