This location continues its downward spiral. We don’t go here very much anymore. This is the third bad experience in a row. Today we ordered our usual and it wasn’t good. I got a chicken burrito and there was no flavor. The chicken was just plain and rubbery. The chips we got were bad. The chips were WAY past their expiration date. They were so stale, we each had one chip and threw the rest away. We are done with this place. Not paying them for poor service and terrible food. Too many other options in AV.
1/17/23 - Update: I haven't been to this place in months but a friend wanted to go. We ordered online at the Pancheros website. She picked it up and didn't check the order. I wasn't surprised to see that they forgot a food item. We ate what they did give us and I went back to get a refund. The girl working there said they can't give refunds for online orders even if ordered at Pancheros website. She said I would have to go through the website. I contacted "Customer Service" who said they can't give refunds either. They said only the franchise owner can give refunds even if purchased in person. They also said the the franchise owner may or may not give a refund. So basically what they are saying is we reserve the right to rip you off. To me, that is what their policy is saying. We can charge you for an item, not give you that item and we may or may not give your money back. They said they sent an email to the owner so I am just going to wait and see. I honestly don't know how this place is still in business. There is never anyone in the place when I drive by. The other businesses around it are always busy.
2/3/23 update: The owner never reached out. I even did a BBB complaint and the owner didn't respond to it. Obviously the company and franchise owner have no desire to make it right. I have contacted customer service two more times with no reply from them as well. I guess it is common practice to take a customer's money and not give them what...
Read moreMy family and I had pancheros for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised by the size and quality of the food! The burritos are very large and super tasty! They took a little longer than the time I put in for pick up at, but not much, (and I was picking up right at the diner rush)!
The store was clean, the employees were busy but still courteous, and the location is very convenient!
I think a lot of the negative and 1-star reviews probably came from the opening couple weeks when the dollar burritos were being offered... I would assume that it was crazy busy and the quality wasn't as good during peak lunch and dinner hours because there were so many people and online orders. hopefully some of the people who left one-star reviews will come back and try again, as I'm sure they will find that is nothing like their original experience!
The only thing I would like to see improved is a way to customize a bit more in the app (extra/reg/lite on toppings) but I understand that's something Pancheros corporate will need to do. Just a thought for those really wanting to customize - order in person,...
Read moreWe were not impressed at all to be honest. I usually dont take time to leave reviews but I feel compelled to this time. I’m not sure if it was because it was their first day being open but the employees seemed to be confused of what they were supposed to be doing. The portions were some of the smallest I’ve seen. My wife ordered steak tacos which each had only a few pieces of steak and about 5-7 black beans. I ordered 2 steak quesadillas and when I opened them, 1 had 2 pieces in the first and the other had 3? At that point I realized the consistency and confusion wasn’t just in my head. I will not be returning nor recommending Pancheros to anyone. I can think of about a dozen other Mexican restaurants I would choose over this place and sadly it would be a toss up between here and Taco Bell. Chipotle is 1000 times better and they aren’t even my favorite. If anyone in the south east metro is looking for Mexican food that is actually worth a good review, I would recommend Costa Vida or Las Totillas in...
