Bagels and sandwiches are great. The reason for the 3/5 is the system they have in place is chaotic. It begins with all employees filling orders and then a scramble to get someone on the register to clear out all of the completed orders. The line reaches the door, impatient customers interrupt the staff or decide theyre.more important than you and step ahead of you to request they receive their order. The layout of the store leaves people to find a random place to stand which adds to the chaos of what order goes to whom. Occassionally orders are brought out to waiting customers and relies on them to inform the staff that they have not paid. This on top of all the trouble there is in the parking lot early in the morning. Read moreThe manager here hasn't an ounce of conscience in her. She takes care of her 3 granddaughters during her working hours. She usually feeds them with the free bagels. After the store is closed and her two daughters take their kids home with them, she starts to work for her job as manager. Since she starts to do her job after the store is closed, she has to work overtime. Thus, she gets overtime payment. She begins to work in earnest when her boss arrives there. When the boss comes, she acts like she never has fed her granddaughters with free bagels. She acts like she is a devout catholic while she talks about her boss, staffs and friends behind their back. I wish they would rearrange their checkout, however. The way it is now leads to a lot of miscommunication and wrongly charged orders. Theres been multiple times I've been overcharged, and I believe this is because the person entering the order isn't the same one who took the order.
If they can move the cash register so that the person taking the order is the same one taking payment, that would solve the problem.
It would also be a good idea to staple the receipt to the bags to check the order contents. The other day I was there waiting for my order, saw a man come back with his order, hand the bag to the employee, then the employee opened it, checked it, then just handed me the bag.
