Juicy Shrimp Shack — Restaurant in Appleton

Came here the day after grand opening, it was very busy and the food took a bit to get but it was totally worth it. The combo special and Cajun fries were delicious and our server was very nice. Compared to millions crab in greenbay, I would say I definitely like the house special sauce here than over there for sure. I also used to be a waitress myself so I know how hard it is to remember every single thing while dealing with impatient customers. It hurts me to see these rude adult customers taking out their frustrations on the young waitresses who can’t control everything in the restaurant, grow up!! The waitresses are not responsible if your shrimp isn’t deveined. Grow up or just get the deveined shrimp! Duh!

Overall, I would recommend coming early in the mornings when it is less busy. The atmosphere is very nice and the waitresses are very kind. Would come here...

2 stars ONLY because our waiter was very nice. There were about 5-7 tables occupied (including us) when we walked in, so it wasn’t that busy or packed. The waiter apologized a few times for the long wait for our food and informed they only had two cooks in the back. I get that, but we had to wait about 1 hour and 15 minutes for a bowl of pho, headless shrimp/crawfish, a bahn mi sandwich and one order of fries. My son kept asking multiple times if the food was ready yet.

The seafood was okay, but I’ve had better flavor/sauce. We got the house special and spicy flavor. I know they just opened not too long ago, but I hope they can improve on getting the food out to their customers at a more timely manner. Walked in here so excited to try a new place. It took forever for our waitress to come ask for drink order. Waitress was on mop bucket then went straight to drink station to pour drinks and handle drinkware without washing her hands. We waited about 10 minutes for her to finally bring us our water. Once we got the water our drinkware was all dirty and had black spots on the inside of the cups. We barely got to eat our meal as the waitress was already coming to ask if we needed a box.
