After what felt like ages, Paris Baguette has finally opened in Arcadia—just in time for Christmas! And let me tell you, it was absolutely worth the wait.
We visited on opening day, and the bakery was impressively well-stocked with fresh pastries. The display was neat, clean, and filled with a wide variety of tempting treats. We picked up a couple of unique croissants—the raspberry croissant and the garlic croissant—and paired them with drinks: a vanilla sweet cream cold brew and an iced decaf hazelnut latte. The total came to around $30, which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity.
The experience wasn’t without a few hiccups. Ringing up at the register was a bit slow, and there was a slight delay in getting the iced latte. However, these are typical growing pains for a new location, and I’m confident they’ll find their rhythm soon. I also appreciated that the staff took the time to introduce the rewards program—of course, I signed up!
This location is on the smaller side, with only a handful of tables, so seating might be tricky during peak hours. Parking is available in a small lot.

Read moreDuring a visit with friends, we decided to grab some coffee and pastries, and after searching for nearby spots, we chose this location. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in, as we didn’t feel welcomed.
I understand that these are challenging times, but if you’re open for business, it’s important to provide good service. The staff member who assisted us was rude and unprofessional. When we asked questions about the croissants, she seemed annoyed and confused, making us feel uncomfortable. One of my friends only spoke Spanish, and as I translated the order, the employee appeared impatient, even making faces at us.
The whole interaction felt discriminatory, and it left us with a negative impression of both this location and the brand. No customer should feel unwelcome or judged when visiting a business. I hope the management takes steps to improve their service and treat all customers with respect. This was my first day in LA, this Asian lady ruined it for me!!! I don’t know if she the owner, but should not run a business or work in customer service with...
