I took my time writing this review so that I can conclude with a fair assessment of this establishment. In my multiple visits, I tried various dishes, both the usual dishes Thai restaurants serve and their specialty dishes with their own exclusive twists. I can say with full confidence that not one of the dishes disappointed me. My only critique of this place is that they have a smaller menu than other Thai restaurants, but that is also a plus. Keep in mind that many other Thai restaurants today tend to be "pan-asian" noodle houses. Although they are Thai owned, they also serve Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese... dishes. That is why those other places have huge menus, and in many cases, the food is just okay. This Thai place focuses on authentic Thai dishes and also a few dishes with their own exclusive original twists, and they are done very well! The owners are a very nice couple who bought the establishment from the original owner a few months ago. I've tried the place when the original owner was there and it was a very good restaurant back then. I can say with true confidence that the quality of the food is just as good with the new owners. This couple wants to make this a successful "mom and pop" family neighborhood restaurant. Unfortunately, not all the people in Arcadia see what a jewel a business like this is for their community. Mom and pop places like this that treat their customers as friends are as American as apple pie and need to be supported. I highly recommend this restaurant and that you give it a chance. They appreciate everyone's business and are highly open to feedback from their customers. They are also constantly experimenting with their menu and have future plans to expand it. I consider this place one of my official foodie hangouts! đ

Read moreWow -- blast from the past. the last time i step foot in this restaurant was back in early 2000. and now 20 yrs later... i revisited Hollywood Noodle House with a friend and it brought back so many memories. I met up with my friend for dinner yesterday and was greeted by a friendly staff and later learned that he's the owner. His wife is Thai and they take turn watching the restaurant. The owner was very nice when I entered the restaurant, i think he knew the weather was scorching hot outside so he quickly brought me a cup of ice water and then later asked me if the AC was okay. he went to turn the AC higher to cool the restaurant down.
when my friend couldn't find the item from the menu we asked if he can customize one of the soups and he was very nice about it and told us that since the restaurant is slow today he was sure the kitchen can recreate the dish that my friend once had there. we were both very grateful for that.
i ordered my go to Thai dish which was the drunken noodle and it was great! i loved my medium spiced drunken noodles. prices are way more affordable than so many other Thai places.
while catching up with my friend the owner gave us each a Thai Iced Coffee on the house - super nice of him.
overall our food was delicious. with so many restaurants opening up in the surrounding city / area it's hard to keep up which place to try, which place to return to. And i'm glad my friend brought me back to Hollywood Noodle because this is a restaurant that was forgotten in my mind. and it is tucked in a very small quiet strip mall where it's very easy to be missed.
i hope this review will bring in new customers to give this place a try to support a mom-pop shop or to bring back old customers who were once a high school student or a college student to bring their family to give this place another chance...

This Beautiful Thai Lady here aims to please every customer. Outstanding Customer Service! Thoughtful, Not Cheap, Always Friendly, Sincere & Helpful. One of My Main Points for me while Eating Out or Dining-In is CUSTOMER SERVICE. This IS The Service Industry after all, concerning Restaurants and Service. Mind you, I've read some of the other reviews here and I did not experience what others have claimed.
Every single entree item that I have had on their menu has been pretty BOMB! Just Bursting with Flavors so I assume that they don't skimp out on ingredients as many Thai Restaurants do in America. Thai Food loses its Authentic Flavor when Thai Restaurants don't use every ingredient required in Thai Cooking.
Today, I went with a Kra-Pow Chicken with Eggs over Rice and a Thai Tea, TO GO. (Pork is usually always the best choice of meat for this dish at any Thai Restaurant but, I stopped eating Pork recently)
MORE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK HERE!!!!!
This Place is clean, spacious, with plenty of natural light here, lots of Parking out back. Decent Restrooms.
I believe on weekends, they have someone outside on the sidewalk dancing in a giant Transformer costume with bright lights. It definitely gets attention from passing traffic, lol.
They have a quirky technique of calling people back right away if they don't answer the phone, when calling-in an order for Pick...
