T.J. Maxx — Local services in Ardmore

This store was a disaster.. idk if they’re understaffed, poor management,or something else going on, but it honestly reminded of a Dollar General with the way they had bins, totes, and boxes with shoes out everywhere. I couldn’t get my buggy down aisles without causing stuff to fall. I had to put my buggy up , and continue without it, because it was impossible to navigate the store with it. I’ve never seen a TJ Maxx like that… I didn’t even know one could be like that! I’d hate to see the back storeroom with more merchandise, if they were having to bring it out on the floor the way they were. I hope they get it under control soon , for the shoppers, and for the employees that are probably stressed out over it...

It's ok. Not as good as it used to be. Seems to be fewer choices in purses and especially shoes as well as candles. I was impressed when the store first opened but now I'm just meh 😐. Clothes are packed tightly together and the makeup is opened and sometimes swatched. Im not buying anything open, even if it wasn't touched. Need someone in that area alone to ensure makeup, hair products, face products, and perfumes...

We Ardmoreites were so excited when TJ Maxx came to town, and it seems to be doing a good business. I especially like their jewelry department with name brand designs and great sales and selection. I was a bit disappointed with the housewares department. Doesn't have near the items Ross does (down the street) as far as bedding and furniture.
