Last night I came in around 7 with my boyfriend, not only were we standing there waiting for our order to be taken for hmm maybe 10 minutes? Once we finally got helped I ordered my combo bop, my boyfriend ordered a b bop, she then proceeded to tell us they were all out of b bop and someone who looked like either a manager or supervisor basically said she was well aware they were out and then said she just didn’t feel like making any more. Which whatever but it was only 7? Then she was making my bowl and she starts putting this..grey..nasty looking piece of dead flesh on my bowl and I’m like ??? I then say “hey I’m really sorry to do this but I’m only just now noticing that it’s incorrect, I wanted a combo bop” and i don’t know where the confusion was but she kept saying back “kko kko bop” which.. was slightly frustrating. Anyways skip to us leaving, and us as well as everyone else in the store could hear them asking each other what they should say on their closing early sign because everyone wanted to go to Starbucks before they closed instead. Next day we are both extremely sick with I’m sure food poisoning. $35 for 2 people 2 bowls and 2 drinks. I could’ve gotten at least less sick from McDonald’s. 🙄 really sucks because this used to be our date night spot because we both loved it. Now I just want...

First time visitor! Service was superb. But the food in my opinion left me wishing it was ... more? There was SO much potential! But you could tell that the protein (except for one) had been out all day and the rice had been in the cooker all day. The rice had some mushy bits that were over saturated and some super dry crunchy bits that were definitely sitting on the top for quite some time. The protein was also unfortunately mostly all dried out. The cabbage mix(?) in the bowl was lacking hardcore. I was really looking for a nice contrast to all the flavor in the bowl but I found maybe a tablespoons worth in the entire thing? The meal was certainly flavorful though, so that was good! And the gentleman helping us was also kind. OH also the pot stickers were some of the best I have ever had! Price point would be good for what you get ... If the quality were a little more up to par.

So yeah, definitely not all bad. I would be willing to give them another shot some day. Just not the best unfortunately. Which sucks because they're literally across the street and I was hoping for a new hotspot to get food other than Panda Express....

Probably some of the worst food I have ever eaten period. Sorry excuse for anything close to being Korean (sorry if this is your first time trying anything close to korean food, this most certainly is the bottom of the barrel).

first of all, the food was absolutely bland. They rely on sauce to put even a remotely resemblance to flavor. Everything is mismanaged and the spice levels aren't even labeled with what sauce you are going to get. WHAT IF I AM ALLERGIC TO DAIRY? They put spicy mayo on a korean dish??? My friend got some nasty lime mayo sauce on her bowl and wasn't even asked if that was okay.

Second of all, the service was absolutely the worst. Maybe the workers could flirt with each other AFTER the customer has been served. An annoying boy and girl could not stop bantering with each other while he was trying to train her. They also lacked any social skills because we are annoyed and simply just wanted our food but they took 15 minutes for something that is already cooked.

I don't anticipate this place lasting more than a year and I actual hope that they run out of business because...

Decided to come back after it's been a bit since my last visit. I ordered the combo bop with the pork and chicken. When I got home to finally dig in, I was disappointed with it. The first time I had gone there, they filled the bowl up completely and got my moneys worth. But this time, they clearly gave me less food and the pork with my meal was burnt. When I mix the bowl in I could see that I had less noodles, greens, and rice than what I was used to. All the pork in my bowl were burnt around the edges and everytime I took a bite. I had a burnt taste to deal with. The only upside was the chicken katsu. This place used to be so much better when it first opened but now it's going down hill. If you're craving KBBQ, don't go here. It's not worth it if you get skimped out on food and some it is served burnt. This is just terrible.

This location is usually out of protein. Tonight our bowls with rice and noodles were dished up first and had to wait 30 min for the protein to be cooked and the bowls prepared. The attendant charged us for the bowls first. She under filled the bowls with noodles and protein. She was very stingy with the noddles and denied adding more when I requested it. The chicken was in big chunks and undercooked. There was only one woman taking orders, preparing the bowls and ringing up at the front. She seemed overwhelmed and annoyed to be there or help or help the customers. I tasted cupbop in Orem Utah and it is very delicious there. I make it a point to stop by there whenever possible. I am very disappointed with the service and food at the Mesa Arizona location.

My wife brought me out to Lunch to CupBop and was greeted by the GM Peter and I can say he was very helpful and explained everything thanks Peter for doing that. My wife got the B-Bop Sloppy and I got the PiggyBop Lv5. I gotta say this was a very delicious rice cabbage and noodles with what ever meat and you get to choose you spicy level. I can say Peter was helpful in me choosing my PiggyBop and I know we can say we are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Justina is the other GM that was there and she also was very nice. So Thank you Peter for explaining and helping us out in choosing our meals. Can't wait till next time we come in to try the rest
