Recent Review: Horrible experience; absolutely horrible! Manager Ruth as rude, disrespectful, condescending (shocking as I always thought she we was cool because my colleagues go there often) as the day is long & very combative. Not sure if she was having a bad day, tyrannical way of implying no way I make mistakes or food is never made with a mistake but this was an over the top experience as noted horrible.
Although she came off engaging from the onset when I was placing my order (out of our group of colleagues) and I even had my receipt as this is how often/ we & I come there, that all changed instantly after greeting me when I informed her that my order was cold. Never have I seen a manager so insistent that they were right and the customer wrong. What is even worse is, I only had an issue with just one item and not the entire order!
Her hard nose, there is no way I the manager am wrong antics has permanently dissuaded future and repeat business for me and my colleagues who all work at the neighboring hospital. They too were like wow, she is not even being reasonable and had we not been pressed for time we would have left our orders and walked out. What a shameful display of customer service gone awry and could have easily been remedied. When will Managers get it through their thick skulls that that although the customer is not always right, they deserve to be treated with respect.
Especially with so many choices in close proximity of which we all be dining hereafter. I am in no implying as a professional myself am always right and neither are you madam, but at the very least be receptive to the customer's needs and don't argue with them, make a spectacle of the issue and because Ruth, you and JIB got my order wrong and didn't have the courage, the kindness, the willingness to admit it as though mistakes cannot be made at this JIB when you are on duty. It is unfortunate however that you, and you alone are to blame for this debacle as we love JIB.

It was late night, we ordered 3 shakes; 1 minus the whip cream; pulled up to window and all was fine up to the payment. UNTIL we saw the female staff from the drive thru window add whip cream to all 3 shakes. It was apparent that the female was possibly in-training, was told by another staff that the vanilla shake was to be without whip cream. Female appeared upset about getting the order wrong. NEXT we saw her grab some hand towels off the wall and proceeded to scoop out the whip cream with the hand towel!!!!! HOW DISGUSTING!! TO TOP IT OFF...SHE PROCEEDED TO SERVE IT TO US. I told her we would not accept that as we saw how it was prepared. She looked at me like I was crazy, turned around, attempted to make another one, she messed up that order by over filling it, and left the area upset! Another staff gave us the correct order, apologized to us as they can not accept the shake back which the female made, stating due to covid! I’m like, what do you call how she made our shake with a hand towel!?! I’m glad another JITB opened up on Guadalupe and Ellsworth!!!

Read moreI am only putting a five-star review because I care about the people that actually work at this location. But I would submit a one-star review if I could for a particular worker named Laura. She is argumentative and rude all together. I meant to put a review a long time ago but I have had enough. I have had multiple interactions with her where she's just unfriendly and today she wanted to argue with me about my order. I should be allowed to order anything that's on your menu especially when it has a dollar amount. I asked for a bacon egg and cheese croissant and she continuously tries to make me order a supreme without ham. I do not order it this way due to the significant difference in cost nor should I be forced to. I wish for this lady to not work at this location. I have been coming here for over a year and I've never had an issue until every time she works. If it is true that I cannot order anything à la carte please send me the company policy because that's what she claims. So if it is in writing I will be more than happy to comply. But if it is not the case then she shouldn't be able to work the window if she's just simply lazy...
