TITLE: GOOD FOOD, DEPORABLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Truly it saddens me to leave this review as it was my/our first time trying this restaurant with my gal pals and most assuredly our last. It came it the behest of a colleague who told us to go check it out and so we did.
Alas, rudeness seems to be the general consensus given some of the reviews. From the onset upon entry we were met with dirty looks of irritation (and we were dressed very professionally by the way so what gives), and less then friendly customer service. This was noticed by us all. I/we understand having a bad day, even being tired but this is no way to greet customers.
We informed the two young ladies on the line that it was our first time and if they had any lunch suggestions or specials Is there something wrong with that? Well apparently it is. The one older lady with a scowl, (no smile whatsoever) said well we have burritos. Uh you think! I/we mean I could see that for ourselves. So we opted for the street tacos which by the way were bursting with rich flavor and very delicious.
What was very disheartening and quite shocking was this chick threw the shells into the foam platter with blatant disregard that we were all standing there just in disbelief and dropped jaws in disgust. I mean did we get on her nerves by simply asking a question and in a friendly tone?
Clearly she hates her job or perhaps people altogether. Then the other young lady who preps your food as you move down the line was just a little more friendly, never smiled not once and hurried us on along! We got to the end where a nice young man who made this worth our while given this horrid experience was most helpful. We paid for our food and gladly got the heck up out of there. Unfortunately we found ourselves talking amongst ourselves about this experience and it foreshadowed our lunch as we were totally aghast.
To that end the service and the service alone is what discouraged repeat business for us. On the flip side/pun intended is the food although tasty, delicious will not be enough to encourage repeat business. We all are in unison on how we feel about this and will get our lunch elsewhere as there are many, many restaurants in the area of which to choose from.
To the management you guys really need to coach and/or train your staff upon entry to the restaurant to be friendly towards their customers and especially FIRST TIMERS! No one is saying going out of their way but at the very least make people feel welcomed and as repeated throughout this review FIRST TIMERS!
My/Our closing remarks are "does the name street tacos" imply to treat/trash customers like the metaphorical street people who are undeserving of respect? I think not as everyone deserves respect no matter who.
We all work in the medical industry as nurses and care immensely about our customers/patients. Take note of this review as you never know who you may be assisting as you could very well find yourselves on the opposite end perhaps in need of ours and you will be treated with grace, empathy, thoughtfulness and kindness. It does after all go a...
Read moreWe ordered the family family that is supposed to feed 3-4 people. I ordered over the phone and kept getting interrupted by the gal taking the order. All I was trying to order was the family meal, chicken with corn tortillas, gauc sauce instead of sour cream, with extra onion and cilantro and add an order of chips and salsa. My husband and I go pick n up the order and I got into the car to check our order out. I noticed we didn't get the rice and beans that are INCLUDED in the meal. I got one order of chips and salsa (a one person serving of chips). I went back inside and the gal that took my order arued I said replace beans and rice with chips and salsa. I said that's not what I ordered. She argued with me, and wasn't willing to fix the mixup. I even told her to refund me and redo it. After a minute of her arguing with me I walked out. My husband then went in and she kept arguing with him. He finally ended up purchasing the rice and beans that ARE INCLUDED in this meal. After getting home and noticing the amount of chips they have us was RIDICULOUS p, a joke. They have us chips for one person. A family meal marked 29.99 ended up costing 50 bucks. The food was good, however they lost our business forever. Don't agree with your customers. This happened on Thursday March 24th. I know they'll remember my husband, because he even kept pointing out that the family meal does not show a choice of rice and beans or chips. Cos and salsa are only listed on the menus as a side. Totally unprofessional customer service. All she had to do was refund, reorder and only give us the rice and beans we paid for in the cost of the family meal. Good food and bad customer service will not keep people...
Read moreI wanna start by saying that the reason why I’m leaving a two star review is not because of the food, but the service is honestly trash.. this is my third time in, the first time I came in we were rudely greeted as if we inconvenienced the line worker.. I even double checked that we weren’t coming in right before close because I felt as if we immediately did something wrong.. but we came in at 7pm when they close at 10pm. The lady was snappy to me until I explained that I was hard of hearing and I couldn’t understand her very well, but she continued to have an attitude towards my boyfriend to the point where he just ended up ordering a steak and cheese burrito with nothing on it because he just felt so uncomfortable with asking for anything else. The second time we came in, I had the nicest male line worker who was super helpful so I appreciate him.. but tonight honestly marks the last time that we will come into this location because of the attitude… I shouldn’t get grilled for “ordering the toppings in the wrong order” which is honestly quite baffling… then to be told “didn’t mean to come at you like that but it makes a mess” after her completely dropping multiple chopped onions into the salsas regardless of the “correct order” or not. I don’t know why I still tipped, but I’m in the service industry myself so it was more out of habit than a sign of gratuity for the service. I never leave reviews unless they’re positive, but hands down the worst experience… especially when we are nothing but respectful to people in the service and...
