Firehouse Subs Litchfield Park — Restaurant in Arizona

Rating this Firehouse is extremely difficult. This is our third time going and the food is always delicious, however this most recently visit was very disappointing.

We overlooked the 25 minute wait for food knowing it would be good, but I really struggled with hearing how poorly the “shift lead,” or supervisor treated fellow employees. I am not sure if he was having an off day, but the young Caucasian male running the line around 12:30 on 9/23 was incredibly rude to his fellow employees. Dismissive, loud, and direct to a fault could explain his demeanor. He yelled at a fellow employee, (Ryan I believe his name was), for getting water, and was extremely rude to a young lady behind the line asking for help.

While I understand that being busy is hard, being rude takes effort. This is unacceptable behavior, and you could literally feel the air leave the sails of these hardworking members of the team. This shift lead is not a good representation of Firehouse, please consider retraining.

I always love coming here, but this time it was different. When we walked in, Melanie didn’t even greet me. I asked for the bacon ranch sandwich with no onions and it came with a ton of onions. My partner asked for no mayo and no cheese in his sandwich and it came with mayo and cheese so we had to wait longer for it to get remade. There was no sweet tea and they gave us our sandwiches in “to-go” boxes when we clearly said that we were dining in. They usually give us the sandwich in a cute little tray, but not this time.

I also wanted more dressing, but the three workers were in the back chitchatting so I had to wait 10 minutes in the front for someone to come up. not satisfied with this...

I placed an online order for my favorite sub to purchase here. I walked into the store to pick it up quickly as I was on my way somewhere and needed to get in and out. The associate working said something to me initially and I didn't hear or understand her. She then raised her voice and honestly I could not understand here, I think she said pick up to confirm but it was in an extremely rude tone of voice. Honestly this type of interaction was unacceptable and I am just not going to go to this location anymore because I choose where I spend my dollars wisely.
