TL;DR Ray is a super good guy and a great jeweler!

I needed my wedding band repaired after it had to be cut off during my pregnancy, but had put it off due to COVID and not really wanting to be without it. I happened to see LFJ when I was going to UPS and figured I'd just pop in and see if they could repair it.

I'm so glad I did. Ray took a look at my band and my engagement ring (which I didn't realize had a loose prong) and suggested repairing them both and redipping them in rhodium. I left the rings and was excited about the idea of having them back like new!

...only to drive off and completely freak out moments later, wondering how I could trust that my diamond wouldn't be swapped and why I'd just left it without more discussion, signatures, a detailed account of the ring I'd dropped off... (I'd never been without it!)

I called Ray and he was so patient and understanding! He told me not to worry, and that he'd show me my GIA engraved number when I came to pick it up.

I went back today to get it (everything was completed in under 24hrs!) and was about to hand over the GIA cert when Ray said "wait, you hold onto that, I'll read the number off the diamond and you can verify its a match." (Of course that makes infinitely more sense.)

(Side note - after showing me, he pointed out he also takes pictures, measures and documents the gem size, and always has security cameras running.)

The prices are reasonable, they offer a military discount, the repair is perfect, and Ray was just so kind. I can't recommend this place enough.

Unbelievable customer service, satisfaction. Ray made me feel valued as a person, not a customer. I am new to the area and have been looking for a starter necklace to replace the original that came with a pendant. Starters usually have thin chain and small clasps. Even the "name brand" store could not find one in their inventory, and wanted me to purchase a new necklace and just use the starter chain from that. I did get a chain from the little island jewelry counter inside the mall, and almost lost the entire necklace down the tub drain b/c the chain broke. It wasn't even a month old. I can't replace the pendant, (which the name staore wanted me to trade in and upgrade to something else (I was furious)), it's no longer made. The personal value is priceless. I came across Rays store when I went to the ups store, next door. I ventured into Rays store. Within minutes he pulled p the chain that would fit, showed me the price (I couldn't believe how affordable), gave a date it should be in.
