Yogis Grill — Restaurant in Arizona

The owner (ANDY) doesn't even speak english (Mandarin) and is extremely cheap!!!

My family and i (2 kids & my wife) frequented this place AT LEAST 3 or 4 times a month up until today. Granted we placed our order incorrectly (due to my younger son ordering this time). He had ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and beef teriyaki plate, in turn, it should have been the bowls instead. Bowl and Plates are different in that the bowls is just rice and the meat of your choosing vs. salad and meat of your choosing for those that don't know. I went back to the store just to place the correct order and pay the difference. Now mind you i was not asking to be compensated in any manner whatsoever being my sons mistake. The owner REFUSED to let us order and said "since it is not his kitchens mistake then he we cannot pay the difference." That is ridiculous.

The owner barely knows how to speak english which is not good from a communication standpoint as it was a mixture of Mandarin and English

As a business owner myself the customer is ALWAYS right barring unrealistic demands for compensation

We will not be going here and i will be sure to tell my friends, family, customers, and fellow business owners in the immediate area of what took place. This was the worst experince i have had in quite awhile. PLEASE TAKE HEED TO MY COMPLAINT AND DO...

I hope the owner is aware of their hours being different than what their doors say. This is now the 2nd time I have gone there recently at 7:30pm and been told they are only doing take out orders even though they are open until 9pm. Both times it has been the same girl behind the counter with no customer service skills whatsoever. She is causing a loss of business with her poor attitude. I have never met someone that has acted like they hate their job more than this girl. I have been coming here to this location for quite a while and only recently since this girl has been there have I been more irritated to the point of me walking out without ordering food on several different occasions in the past few months when I am there an hour and a half before closing and told we are closing soon so it’s only take out. I will be reaching out to the owner in the morning about this issue because this needs to be handled before she runs off anymore customers like she clearly is doing after reading...

This was my first time ever trying Yogis. The food was most excellent! However, this place received a 3 star rating due to a couple of reasons. 1.) Their soda machine was down, which happens, however we were not informed til after we had ordered. Proper thing to do would be to place a sign on the door. 2.) Many flies throughout the lobby. Yes its mansoon season, but it doesn't exactly inspire much confidence. 3.) I'm a big fan of sushi, so of course I wanted to try theirs! However, their sushi "guy" had just walked out because of some emergency. Once again, life happens, but do something about it sooner to me ordering. I was clearly staring at the sushi board above the register for many minutes trying to decide. Was I informed about this while obviously wasting my time? NOPE. All that being said, I loved the food. I will return to Yogis, but not to this location. OH! And I forgot to mention how the water cup I was given had a hole...
