My recent visit to McDonald's left me quite disappointed with the overall experience. I had decided to order through the app for convenience and placed an order for two Big Macs and a Quarter Pounder meal. Unfortunately, the entire encounter was far from satisfactory.
To begin with, the wait time was unexpectedly long. I had to wait for a whopping 20 minutes before being attended to, which is quite disappointing, especially when ordering through the app is supposed to save time. When it was finally my turn, the staff informed me that they were out of the Quarter Pounder, which was one of the main items I had ordered. It would have been much more appreciated if the app had indicated this before I placed my order, saving me the time and frustration.
As for the two Big Macs, they lacked the Big Mac sauce that makes the burger so iconic and flavorful. It felt like a major oversight and really took away from the enjoyment of the meal. A Big Mac just isn't the same without its signature sauce.
The lack of communication and attention to detail were evident throughout my entire visit. It's disappointing to see that the staff did not adequately manage their inventory, resulting in a missing menu item. Moreover, the absence of the sauce in the Big Macs makes me question the quality control in the kitchen.
I understand that no establishment is perfect, and mistakes can happen, but it's crucial for a fast-food chain with a global reputation to uphold their standards consistently. A more proactive approach, like updating the app's menu in real-time or training the staff to communicate such issues, could have prevented this unfortunate situation.
My experience at McDonald's was far from satisfying. The extended wait time, unavailability of the Quarter Pounder, and the missing Big Mac sauce all contributed to my disappointment.    Read moreWe usually have great experiences at this location with the employees but today at 9:30 there was an older man working at the front cashier. I thought it was great that there was someone there because normally they donât have someone there anymore with the new technology. We always request for fresh baked cookies from McDonalds because they are AMAZING when right out of the oven. Employees are always happy to do it for us, thereâs only been 2 times where they said they would do it but then donât, or they would claim that they are fresh but they just reheat the cookies(you can tell the difference). This older gentleman gave my husband sass when he asked and was claiming that we were asking them to bake a whole new batch for 3 cookies. He went to the back and was still acting sassy when asking his coworkers to do so. They were super chill about it and said they would do it no problem. While we were waiting, I saw this gentleman eating a breakfast sandwich behind the cash register. Then sneezed in his hands. Then after that another employee brought out the cookies to put in the display, he then touched all the cookies with his bare hands that he just sneezed into to readjust the cookies and put some into a baggy then called us over to come get. We should have returned the cookies and asked for our money back after seeing him touch the cookies after sneezing into his hands but we did not want to deal with him any more and just threw away the cookies. I cannot even explain how unbelievably chaotic and unprofessional my experience was. not to mention how truly messy and disgusting the entire restaurant was in fact the three customers that came in after all mentioned this as well. It looks like it hadnât been clean in days which I know is impossible but thatâs how messy and gross it truly was. I know itâs McDonaldâs Iâm not looking for Anything amazing but I do expect cleanliness professionalism and employees who are being paid to do a job to do just that.
