Very disappointing experience. When we walked in there were only a few tables with people actually sitting and the place was not very busy for a Saturday evening. Despite it being a bit slow, it took several minutes for us to be greeted or sat at a table. We were put at a table where the afternoon sun was absolutely blinding (like, we had to wear our sunglasses to even be able to read the menu). Naturally they have no blinds or means to block the sun, and there were other tables open but we were told they were "reserved". After about 15 minutes another group of people finally left and I had to flag someone down to see if we could move tables to get out of the sun because of course, we still didn't have someone come by to even take our drink orders. When we did move, our waitress finally showed up and acted totally put out that we wanted to switch tables. Once we were at the new table, it took another 10 minutes for her to come back and actually take our order, even though we told her we were ready long before. Again, the waitress was very rude and when ordering for my two year old she asks "what does the kid want?" 15 minutes later (and yes, at this point I was timing everything) our food shows up, mine is already cold and my husband is brought the wrong wrap. I have to flag someone down AGAIN to get his order corrected and it takes ANOTHER 15 minutes to get his cold turkey wrap made and brought out. Icing on the cake was when my mom was taking the last few bites of her mushroom risotto and she pulls a long, blond hair out. We were done, and disgusted, but of course it took another 15 minutes to get our check because the waitress was MIA. At this point I think she could tell we were pissed so she brought a card for a complimentary starter the next time we came in. I left it on the table. Needless to say we will never go back and never recommend this place to anyone. In fact, I strongly advise against it unless you enjoy sitting at a place for 2+ hours for cold food, the wrong order, rude service and a hair...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Parlay, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a fantastic ambiance with its outdoor seating, which I found to be a major highlight of my visit.
One thing that truly stood out was the exceptional quality of the drinks. Parlay boasts an impressive drink menu, and I was thoroughly impressed by the skill and creativity of the bartenders. The cocktails were expertly crafted, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious. Whether you prefer classic cocktails or unique concoctions, Parlay's drink selection is sure to impress.
The outdoor seating area at Parlay is a true gem. It provides a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, allowing guests to enjoy their meals and drinks in the fresh air. The ambiance is enhanced by tasteful decor and well-designed seating arrangements, making it a perfect spot for socializing or a romantic evening.
Beyond the drinks and outdoor seating, the service at Parlay was attentive and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and offered recommendations based on personal preferences. They were quick to accommodate any special requests and ensured a pleasant dining experience.
While my visit focused primarily on the drinks and outdoor seating, it's worth mentioning that Parlay also offers a diverse menu of food options to complement your dining experience. Although I did not explore the food offerings during this visit, the menu showcased a variety of appetizing dishes that piqued my interest for future visits.
Overall, my experience at Parlay was fantastic. The combination of great drinks, inviting outdoor seating, and attentive service creates a memorable atmosphere for patrons. Whether you're looking for a place to enjoy a refreshing cocktail or to unwind in a charming outdoor setting, Parlay is definitely...
Read moreTheir food used to be better. Maybe it's because we got it for lunch to go instead of dinner. It's not like we ate it after a delay or anything, just ate it while driving to an appointment. What should have been a 2 minute visit in the store and then a 15 minute wait turned into a 15 minute visit and 2 minute wait. This is because it took them 15 minutes to figure out how to change a transaction. We ordered steak fries and the pesto chicken wrap. Who grills a wrap? Was essentially a pesto chicken burrito. Warm lettuce. Maybe a teaspoon of pesto in there. "Essence of pesto burrito".
Steak fries were... Passable. They gave us medium even though we ordered medium rare. Still tender, but the flavor wasn't right and wasn't as juicy as you'd expect. Fries with the steak were kind of stale or had been sitting for a while. Fries that came with the wrap actually slapped, oddly enough. My report got sent out late today because I stood at the hosts counter for 15 minutes instead of going back to my car and working while waiting on the food (busy day, planned this visit to be a quick order and sit in the car til it's ready sort of deal). Sorry boss. Blame The Parlay.
Last time I was here it was for dinner, and it was a much better experience. This time however, They had photographers in while I was ordering and they spent the 15 minutes "working on the order adjustment" holding warm glasses of beer for the camera to get pics for their Instagram or whatever. What I'm trying to say; don't come here for lunch. Come here for the atmosphere and entrees, because their daytime service and those $17...
