While visiting Cabot, AR this past weekend, I had the chance to dine at Deer Creek Fire and Stone, and it did not disappoint. The service was spot on, the restaurant was spotless, and the place was packed wall to wall with customers — always a good sign. The menu was loaded with options, but I had to stick within my food preferences. I went with the Hamburger Steak smothered in Brown Gravy, paired with double steamed seasoned broccoli, and we also grabbed an order of nachos. Let me tell you — that hamburger steak easily ranks in my Top 5 of all time, and the nachos weren’t far behind. Honestly, I wish I had stayed in town another day because I would’ve gone back in a heartbeat. If you ever find yourself passing through Cabot, make sure you stop at Deer Creek Firestone — it’s absolutely worth it. Grub Score 8.2/10.0

What a pleasant find this place was. Food was very good for the price. Huge portions. If I had a knock, it was the mozzarella sticks. They tasted like they were soaking in the oil for a while. The loaded fries are stupid. When I think cheese fries, this is what I imagine. Oh, and did I mention the price. 2 meals, 2 drinks, and an appetizer was on 46 bucks. Great deal. Our server was very nice and I have no complaints there. That's how I imagine service is supposed to be in Arkansas. Too bad too many places in Arkansas has sub par service, but this isn't one of those places. Place gets stupid busy on Sundays. I'm not sure if that's normal, but me and the wife have noticed multiple Sundays the parking lot is packed, so get their early for lunch. I'll be back. Great little hidden gem.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Cashier was SO rude when I came to pick up my order that I had called in, I had to ASK for a bag and had to bag my own to go order, and my salad was left on top of the counter, separate from the rest of my order getting warm and when asked to remake it the response was “ ugh I guess!”… I then get home very irritated with the experience thus far to finally get to open my food (MEDIUM WELL steak, loaded mashed potatoes, and a simple house salad) Only to find my steak RARE, but somehow they had managed to burn the outside of it? Now on to the salad, which consists of literally lettuce and carrots… that’s it! WILL NOT be returning here and I also urge others to steer clear!!!! For $23 It definitely is NOT worth it and that’s for just one meal!

My family and I ate here tonight and were super disappointed. As a fellow server I understand most mistakes or errors that may occur sometimes when restaurants get busy but tonight I was almost offended after only walking in and being there just 2 minutes. When my family and I came in the hostess essentially told us that they were busy and there was a long wait. Clearly we could see they were busy from the parking lot and walking in but when asked how long the wait time was we were told she had no idea. After only 2 minutes of being there i felt like she was telling us they were on a wait and to leave. Our server was super friendly and did a good job but the food was also disappointing. Our steak was supposed to be medium and came out medium rare but more on the rare side. The salmon was BURNT like to the point I didn’t even eat half of it and I LOVE salmon. Our side salads seemed to consist of a bowl of only white and brown lettuce a couple carrots and few tiny croutons with huge slices of cucumber. I ordered a margarita and couldn’t finish it because it tasted to me like just sweet n sour and a TON of salt from the rim. My husbands beer was warm and our fried pickles were soggy and greasy. I LOVE food and the last time we were here it was fantastic but tonight was just awful. Our server was so sweet tho so kudos to you girl but we were all so upset we didn’t get the good food we...

I live in Little Rock and recently took a job in Cabot. I am not familiar with the area, but when my Daddy surprised me at work to take me to lunch and asked for suggestions of where to go- my boss quickly suggested "Fire and Stone". We found it pretty easily, right off main street. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted with a warm welcome and asked if we preferred a table or booth. Our choice was honored and we sat at a booth. I immediately noticed how everyone was adhering to all Covid prevention practices. I noticed all the servers using hand sanitizer and wearing masks, and seating patrons an appropriate distance apart from each other. Our waitress, Sam, was knowledge, polite, and efficient. She did not hover nor was she pushy. However, she did answer all our questions to the fullest and make knowledgeable suggestions based upon what we told her that we liked and were in the mood for. Our food was delivered very quickly! It was hot and everything was the way we ordered it. The food exceeded expectations. Our drinks were always filled, and Sam even offered to make us some to go! Our lunch experience literally could not have been better. Sam took all the stress and hassle out of dining, which allowed us to sit back and relax and enjoy each other. We will most definitely be back! If I could give you 10...

The food and service here are by far consistently great, taking into account my many visits here with my family...and my last visit on 4/23/16 was especially memorable. It was so memorable, I would love to receive a call back to my repeated messages left with management, to discuss the "bone-afide" ingredients of the delicious burger I enjoyed, right up to the last bite. Given my sensitive state of being that night, I was afforded more attention than I was prepared to expect by the great waitress and manager on duty. They were so understanding and accommodating, to the point that when I expressed how much I appreciated them, I was assured by Laura and their GM that she spoke with that night, that all they need is a phone call from me or my "people" and they'll have my back, I'm covered by them with no need for me to be concerned about anything. Though I don't see it as an issue just yet, perhaps just an oversight, in addition to waiting for my phone messages to Laura to be returned, I did not receive the call back from Coby that she told me she would return last week. Again, great restaurant and now all this has made me hungry for a burger. I might stop in later to make sure the beef is being dished...
