Al's Hot Chicken — Restaurant in Arlington

Worst service I have experienced, found the spot on google and decided to take the family to try it. We arrived around 9:30ish, from the beginning the guy had a hard time understanding, there was 3 orders before us so we patiently waited but after everyone had already got their orders and about 50 minutes later I finally asked if it was still going to be a while and was told order was already finished and coming out… 20 minutes passed an requested a refund as we had been waiting so long and the kids were irritated but guy seemed to not know what we were asking an just said food is coming out.. gave him another 10ish minutes and finally just decided to leave. Would not recommend and will never be back. Total was about $80 ish plus tip and will be disputing with bank! Was there from 9:30 to about 10:45 and never...

I ordered a reg chicken sandwhich. It was terrible nothing but grease, I couldn’t even give it to my dog due to how greasy it was! Usually I don’t trust places where you can’t see the food being prepared & this is one of the main reasons why, it was like the guy just took the chicken strip out of the grease & threw it own a bun! It was supposed to have cole slaw on it which was very minimal but either way it was disguisting. The guy that waited on me was very nice and the jazz music was a great touch but it’s not a place I will ever eat @ again. It’s all these restaurants in the area & only a small % are worth supporting on a reg…smh you can literally see the grease. Before I eat here again I’ll buy some Roman...

I’m not kidding — my life was changed by the loaded mac and cheese bowl. Creamy, rich, cheesy goodness topped with perfectly crisp, spicy chicken that hits just right. I went with the extra hot, and it gave me that glorious tingle that says, “yes… this is the good pain.” 🥵

And then… the waffle. Lord. As a treat, I figured I’d give it a try — and it completely stole the show. Light crunch on the outside, fluffy inside, just enough sweetness to balance the heat from the chicken. Total game changer.
