5 stars on the service. Derek was great. Thank you for your patience with a newbie. The avocado egg waffle was delish. Pricey but delish. Never had anything like this. Better than any avocado toast I've had. PERFECTLY seasoned and perfectly cooked egg. I don't like runny yolk but this was only slightly runny so it was fine. The waffle is this perfectly chewy yet crunchy buttery combo. Very good. I was informed up front there would be a wait since they make it fresh. I really appreciated the heads up. Lots of places don't warn you when an item you've ordered takes a while to be prepared. *update... the item is called a CROFFLE ...the croffle combines the buttery layers of the croissant with the crispiness of the waffle. This is why it's so good. Wow. **side note if the owner sees this. I assume your target demographic is to young people so the music I heard in the store is understandable. You want them to enjoy being in your establishment, i get it. However for those of us who are older or the children that like your product, can you please do us a favor and try to switch to playing EDITED versions of today's music. I was appalled at the uncut versions of the 3-4 songs I heard during my wait for my items. The cursing and derogatory phrases I heard while there were just awful. My goodness.

I went today, 08/09/25 at around sometime 11am. The air conditioning wasn't working as well as it should have, and felt really stuffy inside even compared to the heat outside. The lady there did greet us after a while, but then when I was ready to order, she just came to the register and stood there. I'm used to being prompted to order with "How can I help you? Are you ready to order? What would you like?", and find it rude to order without some sort of initial interaction. Even a hi would've worked, but it was a bit of an awkward silence, so I didn't feel like asking about the drinks and only ordered a JJK bento cake. The one I ordered was Nanami, which was chocolate. I expected more of the cake. It didn't taste as though it was freshly mixed in house, was a bit compact rather than fluffy, and there were no layers. I find layers and appropriate amount of buttercream and/or icing in between to be better for cakes than a large layer coating it. Nanami is my favorite character but this did not make it worth the $25. The menu is huge, which is fine, but maybe something more concise can help with having time to personalize and give attention to the cakes a bit more. It was okay.

Such a cute place with a really wide selection of drinks and bites. They even have their own box and cups. We got the mochi ring (ube mochi donut with a vietnamese coffee mochi cupcake added to the middle) and a brown sugar ube milk drink with ube cream foam. The mochi donut tasted like an american donut but with the chewiness of a mochi donut. That american donut flavor overpowered the flavor of the ube glazing on top. The coconut flakes on top of the donut was a nice addition. The brown sugar ube milk drink was good. Honestly, I should have ordered with 2% milk instead of whole milk but the first option that was offered to me was whole milk and I just said yes without really considering it. Other than that, the drink is pretty good. The ice that they serve is crushed which I like because I feel like it gets less in the way of the drink. This place is also more Vietnamese oriented so you'll see Viet specialty items.. We will have to come back to check out more of the items.

Microtransactions!! The menus are bright and cluttered and highly advertise drink customization, but what they don't advertise is that LESS ice costs money. I think the drinks are fine, but finding out I was charged extra for what is usually not an extra cost when I specifically confirmed that NOWHERE on the menu is it advertised that they do so nor have I ever seen it since they opened rubs me the wrong way. Out of the way for standard priced drinks where the sugar is "controlled" but the same drink tastes different depending on the bobarista. Bobaristas also not fully knowledgeable on the drinks that are sold. They don't even explain anything at all unless asked... Most BBT joints give you the "this costs extra, do you still want the customization?" spiel, this one just charges me and I get mad in the car on the way home. This has been a constant, never ONCE have been notified and I always forget. User error? Sure. But it's a bitter feeling.

It's really the overcharge for LESS ice for me. In business almost 2 years and the menu has just gotten more gaudy and cluttered, but the consumer awareness stays an all time low.

My review is just my review. This is a personal experience and view. Please take with a grain of salt. Support your...
