I never had a strong opinion on this place but after today, I'm looking forward to its pending destruction. Upon arrival, we received the standard menu and the day's specials (see attached). On that menu, there is a special for a milk stout from 3pm-7pm where it is $5 instead of $8. Unfortunately when we received our check, we were charged $8 for each beer (which made a $21 difference on our check).

The waitress was pleasant about it and said that she couldn't personally change it but she'd grab a manager for us. I had zero issues with that. The manager, however, was a different story. He condescendingly insisted that he couldn't give us "happy hour" deals on the weekend and that we should walk outside and look at the front door to confirm the day's deals. First, that's an asinine statement. Your establishment gave us a specials menu so that we wouldn't have to do that. Second, please show me where it says "happy hour", "Monday-Friday", or "weekdays only" anywhere on the attached menu. Last, the first special on that menu is only on weekends for their brunch. So there are three specials on the menu, no mention of happy hour or a day of the week, and the customer is somehow supposed to magically know that the Bloody Mary special is valid on Sunday but not the beer special? Incredible.

He was objectively wrong and refused to admit it. It's printed clear as day and he refused to acknowledge that. After minutes of unnecessary back and forth, he finally says, "I'll ask an owner." He then comes back and again insists that he can't give us "happy hour" specials but offered us a $20 voucher to cover the difference. Why couldn't he have done this 20 minutes prior? Why argue with a customer when your establishment is at fault? We weren't trying to scheme you. We're asking you to honor the prices on a menu that YOU printed.

Anyways, we updated the menu with black pen so that future customers won't be confused. I sincerely hope they reprint the menu to avoid confusion...

Below is my 1st review of Rhodeside Grill and it was a honest review, i was very disappointed with my 1st experience but the management contacted me within a hour of my review apologized for how my order turned out and asked me to not give up on them and refunded my dinner. Yesterday I placed another to go order just incase they were having a off night because the place has great reviews and coworkers told me how good the food was, my order this time was absolutely delicious two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽, But it wasn't just a great food I received that made me edit my review because I don't take back honest reviews but it was the amazing attention to customer service they showed from the 1st phone call, they messed up, owned up to it and did a amazing job making it right, I have never had a restaurant respond to one of my reviews like Rhodeside grill, they really care about their customers opinions, thats something you just dont see anymore. A big thank you to Rhodeside Grill management, I'm absolutely a big fan.

1st Review: I order a burger, fries and a coke online, simple and easy, but of course the burger was way over cooked and dry, fries cold and soggy, the coke was water down. I picked my order up at the exact pickup time I was given, if the foods going to be ready in 10 mins don't give out 35 min pickup times its not fair. The burger came with absolutely nothing on it, mayo, ketchup .. nothing the pickup bag had 5 sets of fork/knife napkin packs. No ketchup for the fries.. nothing. Very sad they can't put more effort into a $ 21.00 burger. 1st time there and most likely last. The reviews must be from friends because it...

Let's start with the star of the show: Those frikkin nachos. We've lived here a year and a half and have been on an epic nacho search only to have fallen flat on our faces. Depleted from the search, we said let's try Rhodeside. I guess we've kinda thought they were a different kind of food place and not a sports bar type. We pass here alot and uberEats wings here alot. Never crossed our minds to order more than wings. This place is 2 blocks from us. We are sports bar people and even deeper, nacho connoisseurs. Deeply. All, 'not expecting much' expectations, we order these and get the pulled pork and steak and add shredded lettuce because they have it elsewhere on the menu and were happy to add it. Then it happens: Hailing from the kitchen like an Angel.... the best nachos we've had since the great search started 1.5 years ago. Mother of God they were huge. We dug in happy as a clam. Wanted to use different words there but cursing on a public forum is not my style. Found out the smoke their meat in house. We quickly cut out one of our entrees and decided to share a fried chicken sammy. Mmmmmmm. Dang, that was good, too. What's going on here?! Have we been idiots for this long and ignored this place so close to us for no reason? We finished and order 2 quesadillas to-go. Ate them hours later on ice on a picnic. Sweet hell these are epic even cold!!! Well, it's final. Rhodeside grill, add us to your lease, we're moving in. 2 blocks away is too far, we live with you now. Oh, and the service was in point. Dennis is soooooo on it. Ambience is also wonderful 🙌 Y'all keep on keeping on and y'all will know our names upon...

Charlotte was my bartender, she was fantastic in so many ways. I bartend as well, and as a result put all my money and my wedding ring wrapped in a napkin when things get busy at my job. So when I went to pay my tab, the napkin slipped out and I left it on the bar and left. I called them up about 35 min later after I got home and I realized what I had done. In a panic I called to see if they found it. Bless Charlotte, she said she did feel something in a napkin and went through the trash for it!!!!! And found it!!! She put it in an envelope in the safe for me to pick up today, which I just did. You don’t see that kind of honesty these days and when I deeply thanked her, she said “it’s just the right thing to do.” She went above and beyond for me and it’s something I will never forget. I left her a note with my information so I can thank her properly, right thing to do or not she deserves some recognition for going through all that trouble, and not to mention the trash. The hummus was good too, quite different but I liked it. Side note: the bathrooms are always super clean and I really enjoy the deep lighting, they also have quite a nice selection of beers on draft, i ordered a strawberry cider I believe and it was really nice. So in conclusion, Charlotte is a keeper, I hope you all treat her well bc finding someone you can trust behind the bar is very difficult. So again thank you.

Very disappointed with the service!!!! I ordered two salads online and received them without ANY utensils or napkins, while I didn't have any of them at the place I ordered!! Unable to eat our salads, called the restaurant to ask about it, the person who answered was shockingly rude and told me I needed to pay extra for utensils when ordering online—without any prior notice or option provided during checkout. No apology, just attitude!!! You must be kidding me?!!!!! When you pay over $60 for two Salads online (service+ tip included), you need to pay extra for disposable utensils?!!!!!! Needless to say, we won’t be ordering or dining here ever again, and I strongly encourage others to think twice before supporting a business where basic courtesy and hospitality are clearly lacking. Food is everywhere—manners aren’t.
