Awful grease soaked fries and customer service. I sat in the parking lot talking on my phone for a good 10 minutes before going in. There wasn't a soul in the place the whole time, yet when I placed my order, I noticed fries, and onion rings just laying under a heat lamp. I asked the cashier if they were fresh and she stated "yes". However, after picking up my order, and heading to my car, I pulled a couple of fries out and tasted them. To my dismay, they were greasy, and chewy. I immediately went back inside and asked that they make me some fresh ones. Well a young kid who said that he was the manager, wanted to argue with me that his fries were fresh, so I asked him who his area director was, and supposedly he did not know. Now I managed food establishments for 16 years, and if there is one name that every manager knows it is who the area director/district manager is, however this young man didn't even seem to know who his store manager was, and his own name for that matter. Now I understand food cost very well, but there are solutions to keeping it under control. #1 if you are not busy, Do not overcook!, and #2. If you lose customers because you don't want to serve them fresh food, then you won't have to worry about food cost at all, or making any money for that matter. I have visited this particular on many occasions, because it is right around the corner from me, on Matlock Road in Arlington, Texas, but I have decided now, that the reason this store has more employees then customers, is because they apparently choose # 2. They do not need to worry about this customer anymore because since their corporate office doesn't seem to be concerned, now they...

Read moreI read an article that out of 15 fast food restaurants, that Burger King was number one for crispy chicken sandwich. I don’t usually eat fried food. However, I was in a mood and hadn’t had Burger King in over a decade. The lady in the drive through kept interrupting me when I was telling her what I DO NOT want on my sandwich which was tomatoes and sauce to ask me which size I wanted my meal. Three times she interrupted me and did not acknowledge that I wanted items removed. So much so that I didnt even remember to ask her to add bacon because just getting that part through was annoying as hell. I get up to the window and she asked me 3 times about no tomatoes. I say no three times and each time she said yes tomatoes or no. Probably because instead of waiting for my reply and listening she’s looking at the staff behind her in the kitchen. Needless to say my sandwich had tomatoes on it. Onion rings were Luke warm at best. I told them and they probably dumped the same onion rings they gave me back in the fryer and brought them back to me. Chicken sandwich was not a number one ranking. Clearly that article was not about this location. Poor...
