Read moreAfter a long day at work, I swung by to pick up my online order from Charga on the Pike, and let me tell you—efficiency is their middle name. My food was ready when I arrived, neatly packed in two bags and a drink tray. No waiting, no hassle. They even offer curbside pickup, but I was feeling ambitious and hopped out to grab it myself.
Now let’s talk logistics: parking is minimal, but it’s a takeout spot—get in, get out, and go enjoy your feast. And speaking of feasts, these meals are no joke. By the time I got home (a solid 40 minutes later), the food was still hot—shoutout to those aluminum pans that lock in the heat. And the portions? Whew! Enough for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If you manage to eat it all in one sitting, you’re built different.
Let me break down what I ordered: • 2 Samosas with Chutney ($3.95): Perfectly crispy with a kick of flavor. • Chicken Tikka Kabob Meal ($14): Tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. • Ribeye Steak Kabob ($14): Melt-in-your-mouth goodness. • Chicken Shawarma Platter ($14): Flavor bomb that had me in a literal food coma.
Oh, and did I mention? The bread was still warm when I got home. That’s 40 minutes of hot, fluffy, carb happiness waiting to happen.
The best part? The next day, the food was just as fresh. Pakistani cuisine never misses with the flavor, affordability, and massive portions. In total, my damage was $50.58—a small price to pay for a mini buffet that had me set for days.
If you’re looking for food that’s affordable, flavorful, and plentiful, this is your spot. Now that I’ve put you on, it’s your turn: run it up, try it...

A Must-Try Spot on the Pike!
Charga is hands down one of my favorite takeout spots on the Pike. The service here is always amazing—friendly, fast, and consistent. I recently tried their wings with mambo sauce, and they were absolutely on point—perfectly crispy with just the right amount of tangy sweetness. Next on my list is definitely the lemon pepper wings because I’ve heard great things!
I also ordered the butter chicken this time around, and it was packed with flavor—rich, creamy, and just the right amount of spice. In the past, I’ve tried their steak and cheese, which was phenomenal, and the chopped cheese—super authentic and delicious.
One standout item that keeps me coming back is their masala fries. It’s such a pleasant twist on your usual fries, with bold, savory spices that elevate the experience. The biryani is another highlight—spicy, flavorful, and an absolute treat for the taste buds.
Charga consistently delivers on flavor and quality, and it’s clear they put care into every dish. If you’re in the area and haven’t tried them yet, you’re seriously missing out. Highly recommend!
