Fruteria Tostitos — Restaurant in Arlington

I love the escamochas and tostadas de camaron. This place is amazing and everything is delicious 😋

I had to sadly change my review and reduce it to 1 star. I changed it because, as a regular customer, I went and bought some escamochas, and while waiting for our stuff, my wife noticed there were roaches on the fruit counter, I let it pass but then we saw them on the gelatinas and the ice-cream, I got so mad and asked the workers for the manager and they said they never had a manager there and the owner is never there, I asked for the number and they only gave me the store number. I called about 7 times and asked for the owner and manager. They all just keep saying the same thing (owner is never here). I got tired of having to chase a non existing manager or owner, so I filed a complaint with the arlington Health Department. This really sucks I will do my best to keep people away from this place at all costs.

This place is infested with Roaches. Again, THIS PLACE IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND THEY WHERE ON THE FOOD.

THE OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES TO EVEN TRY TO RESPOND TO...

I rarely post reviews but this one I couldn’t help but to share my experience. Went with family this weekend, i let ladies know I’m allergic to pineapple and asked if they use same spoons for all fruit if so I’ll just get something that doesn’t contain fruit, I was lectured defensively that they have to take courses on food handling and cross contamination ect. trusting these 2 ladies I said okay well I’ll get your fresas con crema, jello cup and soda and fruit platter for family.. my family and I decided to eat at location as my sister was opening jello there was clearly mold (picture) she went immediately to register showed manager, manager didn’t apologize just asked if she wanted money back of different flavor… she asked for money back as my sister came back to table. Manager check all jellos (molded) and tossed out about half there inventory of jello..we tossed our food only taking a couple of bits. We won’t be going back to their business, especially after being rude and scolded that they practice good...

My favorite place for elote desgranado now. I ordered one to try and it was so delicious that I ordered another one. The cheese they use is authentic queso fresco good quality and not dry, not stinky. Also, Escamochada? I'll try that, I said. Wow! Excellent choice. Delicious, tart, sweet, creamy, fruit so crisply cut and fresh. I enjoyed that. We also had the shrimp tostada and it is exquisite. Soft well seasoned shrimp with the right amount of Valentina, mayo, pico de gallo, salt, pepper, bed made of threads of cabbage. I loved it. Everything was well prepared and the lady was so...
