I had the worst experience at this location, it really makes me want to boycott the whole franchise. I ordered through the app for extra “freaky fast” service since we were in a hurry. I promptly received a message stating my order was ready. When I went in to pick up my order, it was no where to be found & I was informed that another customer must have picked it up by mistake. Okay, I get that’s not on them. However, if you’re running a business and using this hands-off method of distributing products to customers, I do feel it is the businesses responsibility to make up for the inconvenience in some way. My order went to the end of the line and I saw multiple customers come and go picking up orders while mine was being remade (incorrectly). I know other businesses would provide some sort of discount options or free visit next time, or even a simple genuine apology would do. However, the owner (Chuck) was very rude to me when I asked for some sort of compensation for the inconvenience. He snapped at me about being angry that other customers are stealing money from him & clearly was projecting this frustration onto me. I felt completely discriminated against because of the way that he went off on me (a female and woman of color), but even if that is how he would handle the situation with any customer, it was absolutely unprofessional & the worst customer service experience! I’m still in shock that he was the owner! I was left in tears, and so my partner went in to get his name after I returned to the car. The owner proceeded to make a scene and yell at my partner, discounting the 6ft distance regulation that is in place now. My partner was humiliated in front of many customers for simply asking the owner’s name. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. I fear that many others have, and continue to receive similar harmful customer service...
Read moreVery disappointed over the terrible customer service from this location. I placed an online order and after it showed delivered but wasn't on my porch I called the restaurant and spoke to Christian. He said he would call his delivery driver and ask if she knew where it was delivered. He called me back stating she had left it on my porch and I told him, no, that's why I called because it wasn't left on my porch. He then told me to go door to door looking for my order! I said really? Is that the solution? He said yes, he was too busy to remake it and if they did it would be hours before it would be delivered at this point and to call and let him know if I don't find it. I was shocked and did go check the porches next to my house on each side, of course there was no delivery there so I called again and asked if he could resend it, he had such an attitude with me and told me he would ask his driver to go find where she dropped it off and bring it to me. Again, I was shocked! So I asked the name of the manager and he said "Christian" and I said "wait, isn't that your name?" And he said yes, I am the manager. At that point I didn't even know what to say, I was just in shock at his attitude and solutions offered, so I said ok thank you and hung up. I was never upset, never raised my voice, I understand places are short staffed and doing their best, but all I wanted was the sandwich order I paid for and the attitude and sarcasm I was met with was just really shocking. I used to order often from this location but definitely will not be back. I still haven't gotten a refund or anything, and while my order was delivered after two hours by then I didn't trust Christian and didn't want to eat it as I had no idea if this was the same order that had been misdelivered or a replacement. Disappointed....
Read moreI can hardly believe that Jimmy John's hires such inept people with zero customer service and register skills. I've been a customer for a long time, dating back to my college days, and I truly love Jimmy John's. Occasionally, I still crave it.
On my way to Bellingham on this visit, our group made a quick stop at the Walmart next door to the Jimmy John's. I decided to grab a sandwich while I waited for my group to finish shopping. I ordered my usual, the Beach Club (#12), which is turkey with avocado, among other ingredients. What I appreciate about Jimmy John's is that you can add various freebies like peppers, cucumbers, and pickles, in addition to the standard lettuce and tomato.
To my surprise, the guy started making my sandwich before I finished telling the lady at the register what I wanted. I hadn't even paid yet, and he had already added the tomatoes and lettuce, onions, cucumber to my Beach Club. I asked the lady if they could add oregano, but by the time I mentioned it, my sandwich was already made and slammed down at the register before I cashed out as I was still adding the drink and chips meal deal.
I paid in cash, but she gave me the wrong change, indicating that she clearly struggles with basic math. After that, I ordered chips and a drink, and when she came around to get my chips, I told her I wanted the jalapeño flavor, not salt and vinegar. Why is she grabbing my chips for me anyway? I'm grown and can grab my own chips. Maybe they don't trust their customers to grab their own desired flavor? I have no idea.🤷♀️
I don't know what's wrong with the staff here, but this is by far the worst Jimmy John's I've ever visited. At every other Jimmy John's I've been to, the staff is super nice and relaxed. It's just a sandwich shop so why make it so unpleasant by having such...
