McDonald's — Restaurant in Arlington

Today is February 5, 2025 approximately 4 PM I have been coming to this McDonald's for over 15 years and celebrating all of my grandkids birthdays here and today I was approached by this Hispanic woman that claimed that she was a manager and told me that I could not set up the tables to be able to have a birthday party because they don't do that anymore they don't allow us to be able to bring in birthday cakes and they don't allow us to bring in balloons or celebrate birthdays there I told her I said well you better call somebody cause I'm not taking the stuff down I've been celebrating birthdays here for 15 years and I'm not gonna take everything down that I've already put up then she said are you gonna buy any food and I said of course I'm gonna buy food I'm just waiting for my daughter and my other grandkids to get here there's gonna be nine of us so she got on the phone and called someone and then she got off the phone and she said well I guess you can go ahead and have a party but you need to clean up all your mess and take all your stuff with you don't leave any of your stuff behind and I told her I said I never leave anything behind for anybody else to clean up I always clean up whatever mess it is that we make as if that wasn't enough there was a young special-needs redhead young girl that kept coming over there to our area interrupting me and interrupting the kids and I was trying to be as polite as I could to her but she was starting to get very personal she was all up in our space And she was asking if we were gonna order food if we were gonna order cookies she was asking how old was I how old was my daughter how old were all of my grandkids where did we live that was what was our address what schools they go to what is the name of their teachers and I told her that was none of her business that she didn't need to know our personal information and I asked her politely will you please leave leave us alone before I report you to your manager because you're harassing us so needless to say we will never be going back to this...

THIEF‼️‼️ Cashier swiped my $10 gift card on a $23 order said his "computer froze" then charged my card $15 said we we're good. Got to the next window they are saying I owed $8 and somehow my card never went through (but I got no receipt nor was I told it declined) I even had it pulled up on my phone that it had $10 on the card and then refreshed and showed it was charged and taken off. Managers didn't help the just checked the balance but not their transactions and refused to give me back my gift card. The white lady with black hair is the worst manager even rude as hell I will be going to corporate and calling the GM in the morning. This can't be protocol they really stole a $10 gift card for nothing qnd then tried to give me an ultimatum receipt for the transaction or refund but they couldn't do both? I should've waited for the police but hearing the rude remarks of the employees who had nothing to do with our situation just made it worse you guys really shouldn't work in fast food if your stealing from your customers 😒 Left out the part where the weirdo manager 0THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS BECAUSE I WANTED A REFUND AND MY CARD BACK And had the employees more than 1 taking pictures of our license plates but we never mad threats or...

They were very friendly and got my order 100% correct! I ordered on my McDonald's app in the parking lot for 2 picky adults + 1 picky child and i find using the app is perfect for picky custom eaters and it's also a way to verify what you ordered in cases where they don't give you a receipt. Once I ordered and paid in the app it gave me the option of going inside or going through the drive-thru with a pickup code I chose the D.T. and with 2 D.T. lanes I was able to pull up to the 2nd speaker and tell them my mobile app code and was told to pull up to the window, bypassing the vehicle still ordering i the first lane, where the girl confirmed my code and gave me my receipt. Next window we got our drinks, next window we got our order and it had our order 100% correct and it was hot and the girl that gave us our bag had to go back for ketchup but only because I didn't add it when I put the ketchup for the fries in the app but I did add 2 bbq sauces for the nuggets which she volunteered was included.
