Idk what has gone wrong these days. Pay your employees more so that they care about their job, or do something. They've lost their minds.
My husband and I go through the drive thru here to order something, specifically a large 2 cheeseburger meal, with no mustard, and no pickles. Seems easy enough, right? We get up to the first window, my husband asks, "That's no mustard, no pickles, right?" The woman at the window says "No onion, no pickles." He corrects her and says "No, it actually was no mustard, no pickles."
She says, "I'll tell them." They then proceed to take EVERYTHING off the burgers. He says, still civil, mind you, "No, the onions are fine. We said 'no mustard, no pickles." The woman then proceeds to tell us "They already took everything off."
At this point, I'm in the passenger seat like ??? Okay, so??? Give us what we asked for?? We just kind of look at her, and she says, "They're not listening." And that's our problem, how?
Look, I get it. I've worked in fast food, retail, everything under the sun. I know busy nights are hard, but like, find someone to make them listen? Bro you can't just not listen to the customers of your establishment and hand them the slop you deem appropriatejust to get them out of your drive-thru.
Anyway, my husband, being nicer than I am, just says "it's fine," and she apologizes again as we drive forward. We get our food, and I get a large meal with a medium drink. Atp what the hell is going on? My husband says, "Hey, this was supposed to be a large drink," and the woman says "They charged you for a medium."
Dude at WHAT POINT DID WE SAY- never mind. He asks for a large, and they reluctantly give one to us. I'm convinced we're living in the worst timeliness because everyone has lost their minds. People on the street, bosses, employees, everyone. And I get it, crippling economy and such, but COME. ON.
Here's my receipt number (restaurant #35344, 9:00pm 04/30/2024, #25) in case the social media manager of McDonald's sees this review (even though, who am I kidding. Nobody gives af about anything these days, the most I would probably get, if anything, is a chatgpt response about how they are "so sorry" about my experience. Whatever.)
If I was a Karen I'd call corporate, especially because this isn't the first time something like this has happened here, or at a McDonald's in general, but I doubt they'd even answer. 💀
Edit: There were pickles on my...
Read moreThe Worst Mc Donalds!!!!!! Its funny that every time I go they always run out of something. They just don't like to work and put excuses for everything. They have the music loud that you can hear everything and they take for ever to take your order. Not only you have to wait for ever to order but they make you wait for ever to give it to you A few times I went there and I was trying to order something of the manu board and after I told him what I wanted he said they were serving breakfast only. They can't change the menu board"For security reasons" Employee said- You need to go to the other board with a bad attitude so I went to the other side and it was the same. I drove to the window so he could help and he looked and sound like he didn't wanted to be there working He really made me mad with his attitude so i asked if i could talked to the manager and he said there was no manager at the time so I asked for his name so i could talk to her later And he didn't want tell me his name. A few mainutes later I saw the supervisor walking by and he said oh she is like me she is not a manager. She came to the window and said to pull up to the front, that my food will be free because of what happended. After 25 min I was tired of waiting so I drove back to the window and I asked for my apple pies and the same employee that didn't want to give me his name wanted to charge me. I said I was going to get it for free and he said there is not reason for you to get it for free. I was so mad. I finally got the apple pies for free but that is not the point. The point is that Mcdonalds employees are the worst!! And the night shift manager needs some personality. SHE DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO MANAGER EMPLOYEE. I think because she is too young. Poor girl. I didn't have the time to go talk to the general manager as I work overnight and I rest during the day but I will talk to her when I get a chance. It's crazy, I can't believe how this person can still work there. I definetely Don't recommend the McDonald on pioneer and Cooper in Arlington IS THE WORST McDonald!!!!!! They have the WORST CUSTMER...
Read moreMy Unforgettable Experience at McDonald's..
Customer service is the backbone of any successful business, especially in the fast-food industry where speed, efficiency, and quality are key. However, even the most popular chains like McDonald's can sometimes fail to deliver a satisfactory experience. Here's my story of a customer service disaster at McDonald's that I'll never forget. It was a typical Wednesday afternoon, and I was craving a quick meal at McDonald's. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed that it was unusually crowded. The line at the counter was long, but I was willing to wait for my favorite Big Mac meal. After what seemed like an eternity, I finally reached the cashier. But instead of a friendly greeting, I was met with a rude and impatient employee. She didn't even bother to look me in the eye as she took my order and mumbled something about a long wait time. Feeling a bit put off, I decided to wait patiently for my meal. However, when my order finally arrived, it was completely wrong. I had ordered a Big Mac meal with a large sprite, but what I got was a Quarter Pounder with cheese and a small Sprite. Not only was my order incorrect, but the food was also lukewarm and tasted stale. I approached the cashier to ask for a refund or a replacement, but she was nowhere to be found. I waited for several minutes, but she didn't return. Frustrated and hungry, I decided to leave and find another place to eat. My experience at McDonald's was one of the worst I've ever had. From the rude cashier to the incorrect order and the overall lack of customer service, it was a series of disappointments that left a bad taste in my mouth. While I'm glad that McDonald's attempted to make amends, I hope that they take steps to improve their customer service in the future. After all, no one should have to endure such a frustrating experience at a place that is supposed to provide quick, convenient, and enjoyable meals. I still never got my...
