Terrible experience here. My group of 4 arrived and was quoted a wait time of 45 min. This seemed reasonable on a Saturday night, but as we waited, we could see that a lot of tables were empty; there were three hosts on duty, and they just weren't seating anyone. I've been a host at a couple of restaurants, and I know there are sometimes good reasons for leaving tables empty--if the restaurant is short of servers or the kitchen is backed up, it's better to have people wait a little longer at the front than to seat everyone and put extra pressure on the rest of the staff. This wasn't what was happening, though. I saw two servers actually come to the front and ask the hosts to fill their tables. I also saw a number of people seating themselves during a ten-minute period of time when all the hosts-- all three of them!--left the front of the restaurant unattended. Ultimately, we waited 40 minutes, and then our server came to the front, pointed out the numerous empty tables to the hosts, and then they finally seated us. Yes, our server had to ask the hosts to seat us! At that point, no one else was waiting, and there were at least four tables empty and clean.

We ordered drinks and an appetizer, and then I returned to the front to get silverware, since the hosts didn't bring any when they seated us. The bar didn't have the beer my boyfriend wanted, and I had to send my drink back because the server forgot that I asked for no ice; the drink issues wouldn't even warrant a small complaint on their own, but compounded with everything else, they're worth mentioning. After we ordered, we waited quite a while, and then they brought my mom's calzone. It was clearly burned on top, and when she turned it over, it was like charcoal on the bottom (see the photo). She sent it back. Our pizzas came, and they were fine, but when they brought my mom's re-made calzone, it was overcooked again. There were burned spots all over the top. Neither of those calzones should have even been brought to the table. To the restaurant's credit, our server did send the manager to our table and he comped the calzone, but the service overall was abysmal. In all, we were at the place for almost two hours and were pretty miserable the whole time.

Go to the Southlake location. Their service and food...

Today as we passed through Arlington we decided to stop by at the 200 N Center St, Arlington, TX 76011 location. We were unfamiliar with the area but soon realized that they have plenty of space in the back.

Our hostess found us a table near the center where we watched in awe as the pizza guy tossed the dough up. After a few impressive tosses he got the dough stretched into a large pizza size. I felt the need to clap.

We ordered 2 teas and a Dr Pepper. I was a bit disappointed by the weak watered down tea but our waitress Holly immediately fixed the issue. We ordered one personal Cheese and Salami pizza, hotwings (hot level), and the "Great White" pizza. The hotwings arrived first. They were accompanied by celery and carrot sticks and ranch dressing. The dressing was sooo good! The celery sticks were cold, crispy and fresh, as were the carrot sticks. I ran off to take a picture of the giant "eye" art. When I returned the carrots were gone and only one celery stick remained. Not cool guys. :(

Next the pizzas arrived and I recieved a firm mental warning to hurry up from my best friend who looked ready to pass out as I took pictures. Revenge is sweet. :D I tried everything and can only say that it was the best pizza experience I've had in many, many, years.

The Great White was so filled with flavor! My mouth is having flash backs as I write this. My son's pizza was also very tasty. He said it was the best pizza he's ever had. I highly recommend this particular location. They have most definetly put the competition to shame.

I would like to mention that the evening would not have been half as great as it was were it not for the sweetest, most considerate waitress I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. My son who never speaks to anyone and is very bashful was easily laughing and being so lively. She had us all smiling. She was quick to fix the tea issue and checked on our drinks regularly without being intrusive. Her warm smiles made our night and I'm quite grateful to her for that. Thanks Holly. You deserved that tip. Hope to return to this place again really soon.

Huge thank you to management. ...

So bad, Please do not waste your time or money here! First off we went on a slower Sunday evening and there were about 3 other tables seated. Each table waited for their pizza over 90 minutes. The waiter continued to give us refills, but continued to tell us it will be another 15 - 20 minutes for the pizzas to be ready. There was not much transparency of what was taking so long.

Thankfully the pizza finally came to the table hot, but 1 at a time. First pizza came after about 90 minutes and then another 5 minutes later another came and then the last pizza came 10 minutes after that. My father in law ordered a burger and was told once the first pizza came that they did not have the ingredients to make the burger! This is ridiculous. We asked to speak to the manager (Keyarro), which at that point we found out the manager was also the only cook!

He refused to come and talk to us at first. We asked the server for a discount at least on the drinks and he said the manager would have to approve that. Which the manager refused once the server went back to ask him. So we went to the kitchen window and explained that we have been patient for our food and all we are only asking for is: first an apology, which we never received and second for at least something to be comped due to the wait. He told us very rudely, "if I give you a discount, I will need to give everyone a discount" which our reply was, "well poor service will do that." He was very dismissive, unprofessional and immature to be managing a restaurant. He reluctantly give us $5 discount and mind you tip was automatically included due to the size of our party. Keyarro escalated the situation and started to yell and cause a scene as more customers including take out orders and staff came to the kitchen to also to complain and inquire about their food taking so long. This place is very disorganized and poorly ran. Keyarro needs not to be in restaurant management nor hospitality. And frankly, they need cooks to properly cook and prepare their food in a timely manner. And they need a true manager overseeing the staff. Very disappointed and will...

I'll start off by saying the pizza was very good. I used to go to the Southlake location before it closed. I'll also say that our waitress was very kind. We got to the restaurant at 1:57 PM on Father's Day. There were at least 5 empty tables, and that was only of half the restaurant. While she did tell us to give her 3 minutes to seat us, it was at least that, if not more. Okay, so I have worked restaurant in my life and if you're in the weeds, you're in the weeds, and a little patience is appreciated, so we were trying to extend grace. She brought us our drinks in a pretty timely manner, but we didn't get our first small pizza until 3:13. The other one got to the table at 3:20. These were 2 10-inch pizzas with 2 toppings each. She did apologize one time, which we appreciate, and to be fair, she was hustling--- hostess, bartender, waitress, and helping in the kitchen. The thing is, the restaurant, at least from my experience with waiting tables, was not that busy. We're not sure why it took over an hour for 2 small pizzas. The restaurant was old and run-down, which I'd kind of expect for a college restaurant. But the overall experience was just not worth it. At one point we were trying do calculate the bill so we could just leave cash on the table, but another waitress brought our $30 tab, so we handed her $40 and high-tailed out of there. I've only been to this location one other time, but this will be the last. Compassion for not expecting a crowd on Father's Day, compassion for her, knowing she was working hard, but extreme frustration at the over an hour to make 2 pizzas. We live an hour away, and could have driven home and picked up Stoner's pizza on the way in the time we spent in Mellow Mushroom. I wish we'd made another choice.
