BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS!! Overrated and overpriced!! I really wanted to love this place, the location is the only real plus. Downtown Arlington is neat to walk around. I was very disappointed in this place. I had seen the negative reviews about it but thought "oh it can't be that bad", well it is....I usually don't do reviews, but just HAD to on this one!
1st off finding how to enter the property, and parking is an absolute nightmare. Absolutely the worst place for checking in. I can't even describe how bad it was, literally took us an hour of walking around to find how to get in and room. The directions given to check in are just awful. Entrance is on backside of building, several keypads/codes needed just to get to the elevator, which you can't get in without fob, so be prepared to walk stairs. Then there is another code to enter before your room to even retrieve fobs for key pads. Most all of the doors are wedged open anyway so not sure what the fobs or keypads/codes are even necessary. After a couple days you get used to the maze, and fobs/keypads/codes.
If you rent a car good luck being able to park in the reserved parking spots as apparently you can't reserve your spot after checking in. Well had no clue what our plate number would be on a rental so couldn't reserve ahead of time.
The smoke-free apartments facility with "tabacco and marijuana sensors are kinda a joke, not that I even care about any kind of smoking, but whenever you open any door to outside or hallway the sensors and your nose will pick up all the weed and cigarette smells. So not sure why they even say the facility is smoke-free or waste time with said sensors.
Do not be fooled by the photos. I don't even believe they are from the location we stayed. It a student environment, which is great as UTA is down the street, but definitely not luxury apartment at all. 2.5 star at most. Extremely noisy, inside and out, but they know the noise levels are loud as the rooms do have sleep machines in them to try to cover the noise. Didn't work for me, barely got good sleep in 4 days. The students we incountered were all respectful so that was never a problem.
The place has that old motel smell that wasn’t too bad after a while and you become immune to it. Toilet seats broken, mold in bathroom as the vents can't be opened or are just filthy. Every time we use the faucets (which took forever to get hot btw) in the bathroom sink/shower and the kitchen sink there is a significant noise coming from the pipes, or any time any room around uses water. Literally sounds like tons if water leaking in walls. I'm sure it has leaked plenty as there are lots of patches in ceiling/walls. Just kind of grungy. The apartment/room overall is not clean sufficiently. Parking garage is full of piled up trash as only one side of the 4 big dumpsters was unlocked, so the smell is absolutely horrid. But there is an employee down in office around trash sometimes, mostly just playing on phone.
The balconies are facing towards the pool, which is definitely dirty looking. All of the sunbathing chairs were broken. The cabana umbrellas are full of mold. In other words no nice balcony view.
This place had the potential to be great but unfortunately was just overpriced, and not cleaned or maintained well at all! Definitely in need of lots of management, maintenance, and care! The multi-million dollar redevelopment project for this building only went so far I guess. My suggestion is just do yourself a favor and...
