My first time at Growl was Feb '24 to support my kids' band. Great place for a punk show. There's plenty of room insidefor these type shows, but glad that I could still hear while outside the building itself when the crowd got too people-y for me. Also plenty of seating for smokers out there. Sound was handled well. Too many small venues tend to crank the bass until you feel it shaking your blood vessels and eardrums to the point of implosion, but this place had a good balance; not too heavy handed. Decent access attempts made for less abled folks and inclusive environment. Also enjoyed shopping records during a live show. For this 44 year old woman, the only draw back is having a single one-holer bathroom but can't really expect more bc they wouldn't have...

You can also grab some great local craft beers right next door at Division Brewery and take them back with you while you're shopping. They also have great vintage posters, stickers, buttons and t-shirts. There is also a food truck out there serving some great food. They also have people set up inside making great eats as well.
