Family owned and operated, Moni's serves up great authentic Italian cuisine for a good price from 11am -10pm, every day off the week except Sundays, when they close at 9pm. BYOB is your option, should you want something stronger than soda, tea or coffee. I find the raspberry tea perfect.
As for the food, it's delicious and the menu is vast. From brick oven pizza & flavorful subs to more complex palate pleasers, there is something for everyone, even picky toddlers. If they don't like spaghetti or chicken, they will still love the bread and maybe a cannoli or piece of limoncello cake for dessert? Moni's also offers gluten free options, but I didn't commit them to memory... just know they exist. My next meal there will definitely include one of their tempting veal entrees, which comes highly recommended by a friend.
As for dress, I observed casual and business casual attire. Despite that, I don't think a trendy fashionista would necessarily feel out of place at Moni's in the evening. Even so, the food would be worth it!
Moni's could be labelled (if you like labels) as a family encouraged dining experience, a romantic corner for two, or the perfect lunch spot for hardworking locals. The cost is reasonable enough to make it a frequent option for Italian comfort food. The atmosphere is kid friendly, proven to me as as I watched the staff go out of their way to accommodate a family with two toddlers at a nearby table.
I also learned that Moni's has private dining rooms available for reservation by larger parties/families for whatever occasion you might be celebration. I don't believe there's an additional charge for private dining, but don't quote me. Our group didn't progress very far in the conversation with the manager before realizing we wouldn't have enough people to fill the space offered.
The single thing I will mention as a potential negative is the lack of a changing station in the restroom. For those with little ones in diapers, you may see it as a problem. However, the ladies room is very clean and spacious. Bring along your standard fold-up changing pad and you're good to go. I don't think that small flaw deserves a demotion to 4 stars because the overall experience is fantastic and what's lacking is more of an inconvenience for some rather than a blatant disregard of a majority need.
In summary - friendly staff, fast service (lunch window approved), reasonable cost, and a vast selection of excellent food... it's our new default anytime we're in that part of...
Read moreROACHES! That's right! ROACHES were dining with us! Freaking ridiculous to pay that much for it to be unsanitary. If I could rate it with 0, I would. Our waiter was sweet but seemed unsurprised when we pointed out the roaches crawling on the walls right next to us! And then when he went to tell someone (just happened to be walking by) the guy seemed MAD at him and asked if I saw them... As if that should matter! When I got back from the restroom, THERE WAS A ROACH ON THE TABLE!!! The company I was with said a lady (manager/owner) went by the table with a napkin asking, "Where are they?" As if to smash them right there! The waiter came back to give us our bill and ask if we wanted anything to go... UMMM NO!! I don't want to take those things home with me! NO TY!!! And no comp or anything! But she kept saying, "I'm sorry, we just had them come and spray this morning. And you know they come out when you spray..." AS A FREAKING OWNER/MANAGER OF THE ESTABLISHMENT, WHY NOT CLOSE!!! I understand you need to make money, but really? You would rather have your patrons eat in unsanitary conditions than take care of that first and then reopen later! I can only imagine how unclean it must really be for them to have this problem! WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT EITHER! $70 for three people just for that! That's a NO for me! And for those wondering, the food was not good! We tried something new for the seemingly good reviews, but we were EXTREMELY...

The restaurant is exactly what you want in an Italian restaurant that will exceeded your expectations ….. so many restaurants these days offer a beautiful location with lousy food.
This restaurant has an original Italian restaurant type feel where you won’t be posting pictures of the scenery. You might just post a picture with you and the staff that treats you like family.
I’ve got two boys one is six the other three they love going to the restaurant. They ran over to say hello to the owners and the staff. They always do the same to my boys. I feel like they get the VIP treatment….. but that’s is how they treat everyone.
This review and recommendation is based on countless dinners at this location and to go orders. It’s not just based on one visit or one experience. We have enjoyed many different dishes here some of our favorite are the chicken piccata spaghetti and meat sauce, chicken Alfredo, pepperoni, thin crust pizza there are so many that you can choose. Those are just some of our favorites.
Don’t just take my word for it make the visit eat the food and come join the family .
