All for chopsticks! Seriously! Let me elaborate... I went to Panda Delight because I heard it was good food and if the food is good the service cant be too far behind, or so you would assume.... I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice as it was a lunch special. As i waited another lady came in and received her order and asked for chopsticks. Without hesitation, she was handed two. They call out my order and if go to get it and requested chopsticks. The lady looks at me in confusion and says," We put a fork in there for you." (Please do not make a assumption that you know what kind of utensil I use! You do not know my ethnicity much less what my customs are. I don't make assumptions about anyone especially a business owner!) You would think it would have ended there. Most people would rectify the situation and just give up the chopsticks.. This was not the case. She continued to look at me and I let her know that I did not ask for a fork. I wanted the chopsticks. She looked at me and said angrily that they did not have chopsticks only forks and looked around as if to search and let me know to look that they didn't have any. (PLEASE DO NOT INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE! I WILL DIME YOU OUT!) I kindly reminded her that she just gave the lady before me two pairs of chopsticks. She then continued to patronize me and pretend like she didn't understand English and leaned over to her "Hispanic" cashier and ask what I said.... Now I was pretty upset because while I am of Hispanic descent, I do not have an accent. The cashier told her that she just gave the other lady two chopsticks and she looked at me and said," oh, you don't want the fork." She gets the fork she just placed in the bag then inspects it as if I had gotten it dirty! Lady, I didn't even touch it! I felt racially profiled! For being an Asian and the world is against you at this moment, you would think she would have some humility! I would say I am never going back but I really do want to keep going back to remind her that her actions are not ok and she should be embarrassed everytime she sees me! Please see additional photos to see the dirty mess of napkin and soy sauce...
Read moreThis was my first time. We were hungry and craving Chinese food, and they looked good in the reviews.
I gave them 5 stars for atmosphere because they absolutely nail "hole in the wall Chinese restaurant in a strip mall." They make Chinese food. They don't pretend to do anything else.
They include friendly service, and they prepared the the food from scratch quickly. I had my order in about 12 minutes. I ordered when I got there because I wanted to check it out. Plenty of room to sit and wait at one of the bare bones tables. There was a mother and son dining in,
I got the wife and me Moo Shu veggies, large; two spring rolls; and the Szechuan cabbage. One meal with fried rice, one with steamed white. The woman who helped me at the small register counter was kind enough to make sure I knew that this dish is hot, that one has eggs, and peanuts on this.
The food was very hot. I was sorry, though, to see them using Styrofoam.
Got home in about 10 minutes with still-hot food and we dug in. The food was very tasty, The Moo Shu pancakes were a tad hard, but did the job well. The white, steamed rice was great, and the main dishes perfect. The fried rice was meh. The texture was right, but it was just flavored; there were no yummy bits of vegetables fried into the rice.
I'll take pictures to add next time. I'll definitely be going back. This place could move to 5 Stars, or Down to 3. Watch this space.
I am going to have my...

I have always thought that Panda Delite is a good Chinese restaurant to eat/order at, but this time it all went down. Upon arrival of the deliver, I was informed that they do not deliver to me ( to UTA- 4 miles). When I was about to eat the food I order, they were cold, making everything taste really bad. Weather they deliver to me or not, I will not order from here again.
One of the better Chinese restaurant in Arlington. I ordered from Grubhub twice from this restaurant and have really enjoyed their food. The first time I ordered Chicken Stick and Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice and the Teriyaki Chicken taste really good and came with fresh steamed vegetables. The second time I ordered Lunch KP chicken and combination fried rice with extra egg roll. I have been a fan of KP chicken. Thought they didn’t make the best (or very good) KP chicken, I’ll still say it is better than most. The two times I ordered (one night and one afternoon), the deliveries were quick, only took about 15-20 minutes for the food to get here (I live on UTA campus). I sure will...
