Yeah...the Addy ain't it. Visited Saturday around 530p. It wasn't packed, maybe like 2 people at the bar and 3 tables of people. Our server was Tiffany. Started out fine, she made a drink suggestion for me and food suggestion for my friend. Mind you, when I ordered my drink I also asked for a water with lemon. A good 15 min passed - finally got the drinks- but no waters were to be seen. My friend orders a beer - Tiffany tells her it's in a can and she can't bring over the can. Also, there are no actual glasses but just plastic cups. My friend agrees. Someone at our table got a soda, it was noticeable that the beer came in a much smaller cup as to suggest she did not in fact get the full can. Still, we're cool. The food comes out, not bad at all it is a little salty and the fish was fried a lil too hard. So, my friend ordered the loaded brisket fries, I assume Tiffany wanted her to eat them with her hands as no silverware was provided. We finally get a fork(which was plastic) to which at the same time I again ask for some water. Another table has come in at this time but again it is nowhere near packed and there is a bartender assisting people at the bar. A guy came out; we assumed him to be the owner though at no time did he introduce himself no ask how it was going. At this point the soda ordered is empty and we are wrapping up the food. I asked for a to go box and again the water. My sister and I both asked for waters - but only received one (definitely no lemon provided). So, we knew there was an auto gratuity, it was at this point I realized I will not be needing to find this Addy again. I explained to Tiffany that we weren't impressed with her service and instead of her apologizing she says "Oh well, sorry" to which I was taken aback. She then tried to suggest that she did not say that knowing full well everyone at the table heard her say it. Girl bye good luck with staying open with...
Read moreI found this place using Google. I called the day before to ask about the requirements for making a reservation because the place looked small. I told the lady on the phone before making a reservation that I was just inquiring because I know that when making a reservation for a large party most of the time, everyone doesn't show up on time. She let me speak to the manager, and he said that was okay and we proceeded with making the reservation. I arrived at the time of my reservation and not all my party as expected was there yet but we still ordered food and drinks while waiting for everyone. I'm guessing she was the owner as she didn't introduce herself. She came to our table, took a chair, and snatched the remaining menus off the table. Which I don't understand because it was far from busy, it was rude and poor service from her. She could have explained or even said to us hey we are going to take this or use this until the remainder of your party showed up. Which they did show up, but she didn't try to come over and accommodate us. Also, there was only one waitress, and she was doing everything. They charge regular price for refills on soda, which was not explained or on the menu so for future reference they should make that clear. Lastly, there is an 18% food service fee charged, not gratuity, no matter if it is 1 or 10 people. The decor was cute, the food wasn't bad, and the DJ played okay music it was just really loud for as small as...
Read moreWent to Addys for the first time on a weekday. Food was amazing service was amazing took a picture and talked with the staff that were from St. Louis.....we're from Chicago so it felt like home. Fast forward tonight on a weekend was TERRIBLE. They weren't overbooked or understaffed. About 5 servers for 20 people. We came in and sat at a table for 4. There were only two of us so we were asked to move to a table for two.....we obliged. Upon moving the waitress greeted us and asked had we been there before. We told her Yes and that we would like to order food and drinks. She told us "Slow Down" which was rather off putting and that she would only take our drink order for now. We ordered drinks and literally sat there unattended to for over 30 minutes. One of the waitresses we met the first time asked us if we wanted water and seemed so uncomfortable with the fact we weren't being properly serviced. The "waitress" who made us move to the smaller table substituted as a cashier and began taking pickup orders getting their food and drinks in and out and NEVER said another word to us. We looked up the hours for Texas Live and left. I really rather support "My" people but I was highly disappointed today. With an automatic gratuity of 18% added then an additional tip one would expect exceptional service. The food is always good it's just unfortunate that we didn't get to...
