I work at a competitor store/different pizza place and we would never turn a customer away for choosing to pay CASH over card. I placed an online order at this location for pick up and to pay with cash. I get to the store at the time my pizza is supposed to be done and waited to be greeted by someone who clearly doesn’t like their job. After giving the person at the counter my info to pick up my order, he asks me if I have a card to pay with. I tell him no and that I have cash. He keeps asking me if I have any other way to pay besides in cash. I don’t understand why i was being pressured to pay with my card for an $8 order. 1 pizza. Is it because you already closed the cashier drawer too early and want to turn people away so you can eat the pizza they can’t claim because of some arbitrary rule? I literally would have went to get exact change so you didn’t have to break a $20. This was at 10 at night and while i understand wanting to be safe about locking your money at the end of the night, at least remove that option for people to pay cash on the app or online. Read moreI understand mistakes happen. I wouldn’t leave a bad review over mistakes (yes, plural) unless I made an attempt to speak with someone and have it corrected. My biggest complaint was how long it took the 3rd party driver to get my food to me because there was no apartment number given to him. During my call I brought this to the person’s attention and her first response was “there was no apartment number on the order because it wasn’t entered online” when I told her I had verified there was an apartment number, she checks and when she sees it says “well, the driver probably didn’t see it then” but there’s no apartment number on the box. You’d think they would confirm these things and even write it on if they’re using 3rd party to deliver. Next issue? I asked for light sauce and got no sauce. Her response was “I’m sure there’s sauce on it you just ain’t seein it cause there ain’t much on there” and once again took no responsibility for anything.
